WE FINISHED WEEK 1 !!



I know I said @veeren can edit the first week, but since we already have 20 posts and all of it was necessary to complete the character background week, I think it would be better if he posted his monologue poem first thing Monday that way it'll be counted as our post count for next week. are you cool with that, veerz?

I'll add all the word counts and post in the ship log tomorrow, and then I'll also draft up an idea of what I think week 2 will look like.

I'm excited to see where the story will take us and how we will all grow as writers!

i'm a data nerd so of course i had to make a spreadsheet for our number here are the numbers for week 1! we're going to start actually interacting with one another for week 2, so it'll be interesting to see how much the numbers will change.

SPEAKING OF WEEK 2... here's what i have in mind!

the boat will start to sink, but it's going to be a slow burn. we'll start off the week with the characters feeling vibrations like a mini earthquake and then the power goes out, but the spa workers will downplay it and say something like, "don't worry about it, it's probably just some turbulence that caused an outage, it happens all the time."

but the workers obviously seemed a bit worried and they're trying to get a hold of some people, but can't seem to get the phone lines to work. and outside the spa, there seems to be the same buzz of confusion.

the workers will have to pause whatever treatment they're doing to figure out when the power will return, so our characters can say/do whatever they want then.

and then when we're ready... there's sudden chaos and the entrance to the spa got closed off by falling debris

i figured this would be the best way to roleplay yet take it slow, but let me know if you have other ideas and suggestions
