Nah, that's not strange. That's actually one of the commonest types of loneliness (at least to me)...

That´s true! I like that quote.

Thanks...I thought it was a really common feeling though. I mean isn't that the worst kind of loneliness? When you are surrounded by many people and they are all talking and making memories all around you, and yet you can't find it within yourself to participate, to feel like one of them.
“Life’s under no obligation to give us what we expect. We take what we get and are thankful it’s no worse than it is.”

It is. And it has a lot to do with how you were brought up and how you think. It is possible to change that kind of loneliness but it isn´t easy alone because there is conscious loneliness that you can change and subconscious loneliness that is very hard to track.

That´s sad. You should change it. Start with smiling just because you can. That helps to get comfortable and your brain produces dopamine.

You know what... I don't smile... I laugh... I laugh hilariously and everyone around me thinks I am mad. Well, did that sound funny?

Edit: oh lehmanf, I see. My bad!

Hm... I think you should start to smile instead of laugh. Just as a beginning! :D

You have to do some tests with professional psychologists / therapists to get certainty for it.

Oh my. Is my personality really hinting that that you will even consider it?

No, but you should always be aware that there are people outside that have a disorder, so I wouldn´t start writing things in this direction as some people could get triggered by it.
