Also, I know I said that Molly was tearing apart the bacon, but I thought I needed to explain it a little more - she's literally ripping it apart. She's basically holding a piece of bacon in one hand, biting onto its end as tight as she can, and pulling on it until it breaks.
@Lezuli, great post! I knew Ollie wasn't from the same world as everyone else, so it was great getting that confirmation.
Just a quick request, though - it's generally not accepted in roleplays here on YWS to assume how other characters will react to what your character says/does in your post because you never really know what the characters will do. It's actually something I mentioned in the rules in the second post:
4. Please don't write for anyone else's characters. It's hard to predict what someone else might have their characters do, and it takes away some of the fun for the other writers.
For example, with your post: Maahes actually is very familiar with the idea of enslavement and other worlds, so chances are he wouldn't really be shocked - he'd be more saddened and feel like he almost found a kindred spirit. Molly's too distracted to really react, and The Actor's probably shocked from the slavery part but aware that Ollie can be from a very different world than what he's used to.
I'm really sorry to ask this, but would you be able to edit your post so it doesn't include how the other characters react?

I really love how you had Ollie think about the situation - and Maahes! It'll be fun seeing more hints of her world/story as the roleplay progresses. <3

I'm also thinking of throwing our characters into some more action soon! I do have a rough plan for this roleplay, but the plan is so rough that there's some breaks in between the major events that I didn't really plan out - this part included.
I don't know for sure if I'll be able to get a post up today, but I'm definitely going to post again in this sometime this week! I just need to sit down and figure out exactly what I want to happen.

In the meantime, are there any shenanigans you want to include at some point in this roleplay? I love chaotic roleplays, so I'm down for pretty much anything if it doesn't go against the lore & doesn't steer us too far away from the plot.
I was going to have the action start in that post, but I decided to slightly alter the plot that I had in mind. Instead, I think we can get the change of pace a different way: by switching to another set of characters. I'm pretty sure I hinted at this before, but our group right now is just one group of characters.
There's another one, too - a group that ended up as villains.
(That's part of the reason I wanted a DT - I wanted to have some way to keep track of who was doing what character, as well as an easy way to plan how the two groups will meet up!)
You don't have to add a villain if you don't want to, but you can certainly do that if you want! Just let me know who you want to do here first. Our villains will be ending up in an ominous - and stinky - sewer system underneath the city.
