I think something like this should be adapted to every country in the United Nations, to really get the feeling of unity we have, even if we live in different countries, we are all sharing the same ground.
Some countries have mandatory military service after high school, too.
Tbh, I think something like this should be a thing, too. Maybe not a factory, but at least some form of work experience. I think Australia does that for a little bit during school, but not a lot. Hmm...

I'm glad they got rid of the mandatory military service before I was old enough to do it.
I think it will also help the children to develop a better understanding. Apart from many internships, I have done, working during the summer holidays and while studying has helped me to find out where I belong. Especially nowadays with so many possibilities to get at least a taste of what can await somebody.
Yeah. I see some many teens and young adults who just do whatever they want because they're lost and don't know what to do or where they belong. It'd be good to have something to do like that before you actually join the workforce. Might help people find a passion and job/industry they love?

That is true. When I see how many of the children where I was a tutor have no idea what they are doing with their lives, I wonder if the education system doesn't need to be completely rebuilt. Because that would not only change schools, but also politics and society. It would create a new way of thinking, and perhaps a greater awareness of things other than what capitalism wants to teach us. Or at least just critical thinking instead of blindly following.
Exactly! The education system at the moment is very focused on memorisation and repetition. So they're not focused on how people learn outside of that system. It's very limited and it's been the same for 100+ years. It needs an overhaul. Some people learn better outside of such a structured eductional setting.

Exactly. I only developed real "learning" and understanding at university. At school, it was rote learning and there was just no grip on reality. There were very few teachers who brought the practice into the school.
I very much believe that the system does not want to change from the point of view that some people have what they want. Maybe I'm even thinking too far and saying that a peaceful revolution of the people would make it possible to change. At the moment everything seems to be working and I think we are also living in a time where bigger world powers *cough cough* continue to try to impose their identity on smaller countries so that their own ideas can't grow. As if there were only two options to live.

Ugh, absolutely. You're not wrong at all. I never went to uni/college so I never had that experience, but I definitely learned a lot more outside of school than I ever did in school. xD
