I´ve studied psychology and economics. It´s a weird combination but it´s really interesting.

Ooooooooh that sounds nice :D

That actually makes sense, seeing that Psychology deals with people's way of thinking, and Economics deals with their social life.

Maybe I'm wrong on both counts. Don't judge me.

I´m not judging! :D

It is indeed a bit that way. It helps to create a better work-life balance, awareness of mental health, the increase of production by creating better groups, etc... It´s also way easier than psychology by itself because you always have an example of it in real life with businesses.

Do you study / want to study something?

I'm not sure about my career choice... My list currently stands with 24 options on it.

24 is a lot. Can you do internships to reduce the options?

So you still have time to find the one thing that you really like to do.

Yeah. Though I've decided that I'm going to do at least two things on my list. Not all of them require specific studies, and some of them don't need any real study at all.

That would give you the opportunity to already start some of these options during holiday breaks.

When I was still looking to do something in the direction of a teacher, I worked in a daycare centre during holidays and usually afternoon after school.

*I just now realise that Grammarly has now changed its settings from American English to British English. I don´t get it marked as wrong by "centre" and other words.

Oooh

I don't know how it works where you are... but here, we schoolgoing people don't really 'work' I guess... the concept just feels weird. Working is something you do when you're old, like 20. (Sorry if that was offensive or made u feel old or anything) (Wow I need to upgrade my people skills)
But yeah... I can start working towards them. *ideas formulating in my brain*

*Cool*

Haha. That´s not offensive. Where I live it´s "normal" to do some kind of work during holidays from the age of 16 onwards. You usually get a lot of money and it helps to find a way to start in life.

-> But usually doing things as I did (working in a daycare centre) isn´t normal here, too. I did it because of starting as early on to find a place where I belong.

I see. I've read about it, but never really seen it in action. The most 'work' we get in is helping our parents in their profession.

Employing children below 14 is actually illegal, in my country. And 14-18-year-olds can't be employed in hazardous occupations.

That´s the same here.

I´ve for example worked from 16 - 23 in a large factory where they worked in different shifts, but only from 18 on, I could work also during the night (which gives even more money) and also only things that aren´t dangerous, like no work with poisonous chemicals, etc...

Interesting... where do you live?
