The Orphanage [DT]

If you've joined The Orphanage, and you were looking for the Discussion Topic, you're at the right place.

I'm not entirely sure I can take part in another storybook just yet, but I've subscribed to the topic for when I finally come to a decision - no matter if I join or not, this storybook looks great!

I've joined and backed out of a few storybooks in the past because of time, and i'm also a bit weary when it comes to writing other peoples' characters, but this storybook, like mage said, looks great! definitely considering joining, despite my lack of storybooking skills

So, do we remember anything about living in the outside world? How young are the kids who get dropped there?

Depends on you, @Europa! If you want them to remember things, they sure can, if not, then that's up to you. And to be honest, their memory would really depend on their age... which is no older than 11.

Alright, next question, what's the society like on the island? Is it matriarchal or patriarchal? A mix? Do the older kids rule over the younger ones, or is it a wolf pack type of thing where everybody takes care of everyone with two "parent" figures?

I should probably clear up that I'm not sure if I'll be joining, I'm trying to get a better feel for the world before I decide.

@Europa - Literally just depends on what type of personality your character has. If they have a bossy attitude, they'd be the one who'd be trying to lead.

But whoever the eldest is would actually be the real 'leader'. I hope they all work as a proper team with no leader, so they can have a sense of what a teammate really is.
