Okay, yeah, Thytes had called Télos a god. Aegeas still wasn't sure whether to trust Lex, but he couldn't think of any way that Lex could've had that sword or recognize that name without being familiar with the god.

So, against his better judgment, Aegeas took a step out from behind the arch. "Alright, I'll believe you," he said. "I wish this kind of stuff was new to me, or at least a little less normal, but it's still weird."

Kiran raised a hand. Now didn’t seem like the best time for this, but her hair was really getting in the way.

“Um, sorry to interject, but do any of you know how to braid? I was in a hurry this morning when I tied it back and I wasn’t supposed to be at the shop until later this afternoon, so I didn’t ask my...er...date mate to braid it for me.” If her skin had been one of it’s lighter shades, her blush would have turned her face bright red.

She kinda regretted asking, but she really could deal with her hair floating around in her face in a place where she might need to be ultra self aware.

Helenah
Looks - thin figure, thin lips, blonde hair, icy blue eyes, short for her age, is 19, usually wears jeans and a cotton red t-shirt
Characteristics - optimistic, out spoken, never lies (if she does, her ears turn bright red), very social
Un-human-like stuff - has a hummingbird who follows her everywhere (her animal friend sorta) and can run faster than lightning

Helenah screamed. This had happened before - yes, but only once - but this time, she was not ready for it. She was washing her face, and closed her eyes as she splashed cold water on her face then opened her eyes, she was in a completely different place.

Helenah screamed again when she saw her hummingbird hovering in front of her face. "How many times have I told you not to do that, Ruby?" she hissed. She got up from the soft moss, brushed her jeans, and tied her blonde hair into a ponytail.

"Sorry, my dear." Ruby whispered in her soft, angelic voice that only Helenah could make out. Anyone else would have heard a buzzing.

"It's fine." Helenah sighed. "Ooh, look! Other people! Or creatures. Or..." she trailed off.

"Let's go check them out, Helen." Ruby buzzed. Helenah nodded.

Aegeas blinked, then glanced back at Kendrik. "Do you know how to braid?" he said.

"What?" Kendrik hissed from behind the arch. "Don't talk ta me."

"It's a yes or no question," Aegeas said, crossing his arms.

"Don't talk ta me," the hound growled.

"I heard someone." Ruby chirped in to her friend's ear as she dodged a tree branch sticking out of the side very dangerously.

"Oh really?" Helenah muttered, squinting her blue eyes to look at the couple of figures standing... And the dragon of course. She neared the creatures but hid behind a tall tree. But as she was rushing towards the tree, she tripped.

"Ow!" Helenah shrieked, "Ouch ouch ouch ouch ouuuuuch." she rolled onto her back and clutched her leg. She squeezed her eyes shut and tried to sit up. She took some support from the tree and heaved herself up, sitting with her legs pointing north.

Dae, who had been content with simply absorbing the information being presented as people kept popping up out of nowhere, heard the sound of someone falling, along with all the accompanying ouches that followed. He glanced over in the direction of the sound, before quickly darting over to go check up on this new person.

He wasn't quite surprised to find another human, but still, that was a new record for him; he hadn't seen so many humans in one place since- never mind, unimportant thought. His body shimmered, his form returning to that of a human.

"Hello!" He said, smiling at this new person. "I'm-"

He stopped, catching sight of the hummingbird. He stared at it, head tilting slightly as his pupils narrowing to draconic slits.
Lost, not aimless. I know where I need to go, I just...don't know how to get there yet.

Sure thing, @hiraeth! The more the merrier~

Also, before I forget - you don't have to join it, but there's a Discord server I use for all of my roleplays and storybooks. It's just a fun place to hang out and occasionally scheme, but it's mostly just chatting at the moment. If you have Discord and feel like joining a new server, here's the invite link.

The group was devolving into chaos, but Lex was very used to chaos. It was all that his life had become after the car crash. He could sort through all of the different things going on and figure out what needed the most attention - ultimately deciding that the newcomer was the one who he would go to.

He made the sword disappear from his hand.

He walked over to the girl, extending a hand like he had to Rayden earlier. "Are you alright?" he asked, looking her over. It didn't seem like she was too hurt - the trip must have taken her by surprise. His gaze lingered on the hummingbird for a second before returning back to Kiran.

"I can braid," he said. "Do you have a hair tie on you?"

And then lastly - but not least - he looked at the dragon-turned-human and the arch that definitely had another person behind it. He didn't say anything to either one of them. He just watched, trying to get a good understanding of what was going on.

....And then he gave up, because even he couldn't explain the former dragon.

Eek I hope there's room for another character~

Dara: She is willowy and appears to be a human in her early twenties. She has long, straight, black hair with straight bangs, and dark eyes to match. She wears a gothic inspired dress in deep purple and platform boots. Her overall presentation is clean and orderly. She wears several rings on her fingers, each featuring a different crystal. Her default expression is a frown.
Incy bit of background: She comes from an alternate modern Earth reality in which the city of Atlantis never sunk and was never lost. She can purify anything that can be purified and harnesses the magical properties of crystals.

Dara wound herself up to retort that there was no way to purify someone's fashion sense because aesthetics were subjective, but found the breath in her lungs leave her. All the more, she was falling around greenness, onto what seemed like a woven wooden... something. It looked like it could be dirty.

With a frantic oof, she landed on the twisted wood, and just as frantically scrabbled to cling onto it for dear life. "What in the bloody world—"

She looked down, and noted that a fair few eyes were looking up. At her. She remembered she was wearing a dress. "Oi, are you the ones behind this? Where did my shop go?" She looked around from her high vantage point. "Where did I go?"
There is no way to happiness; happiness is the way.

Kiran was briefly distracted by the newcomer before nodding at Lex.

"Yeah, I've got a hair tie," she said, gesturing to her ponytail, "You, uh, might want to get it yourself," she held up her hands, showing off the glowing veins like arcs of lightning under her skin, "The decorative foil is conductive and you could get zapped really bad. The, uh, electricity ends at my elbows though, so you don't have to worry about getting electrocuted by touching my hair."

She put her hands back in her pockets to keep from accidentally touching anyone who came too close to her. Seventy-five thousand volts of electricity was decidedly too much for the average being of any kind, and that was only her starting reading. She was a bit distressed at the moment, so she imagined the actual voltage of her hands at the moment was at least a bit higher.

Spoiler
Small side note, the moment her hair is let 'down', it's going to hover around her head so it covers her eyes and just generally resembles a cloud that she stuck her head into.

Whoop, a few new people had showed up. A person with a hummingbird (Aegeas had only ever seen those once or twice, but he'd always liked them), and someone in a purple and black dress. With that second person on the arch itself, Kendrik's hiding spot looked more and more obvious, but that didn't stop the hound from crouching down to blend in with the arch's shadow.

"Pretty sure this wasn't our fault!" Aegeas called up. "And I'm not sure where we are! Need help getting down here?"

Right.

Rayden would love to say that this was just another typical day in his life, but that would be quite untrue.

There was a girl hanging from the sky above him, and Rayden didn't envy her. Plopping down from the sky, though effective, was not his style of entry; and he was dead scared of heights - which was a secret he'd die with.

The most normal thing happening around him was Lex braiding Kiran's hair. There was a certain hilarity to the situation that made Rayden want to roll around the floor and laugh into tomorrow, but he figured that would be a tad inconvenient at the moment, especially considering that they might all get killled any second. Not that anyone seemed bothered. Not that Rayden was bothered.

The girl on the tree was talking about some kind of shop. Rayden's ears pricked up. Shop. Now that was a word he understood. Roaming through shops. Selling things at shops. Stealing from shops. He grinned.

"Welcome to strange-o-topia," he said.

Welcome to the roleplay, Coffee!

Lex was torn between helping the girl on the ground up, braiding Kiran's hair, and helping the girl on the arch down. After glancing between the three, he finally made a decision - he grabbed onto the hand of the girl on the ground and pulled her up without waiting for her to give him a response.

Then he turned back to Kiran.

Walking over to her, he got to work braiding her hair - watching with awe when he let the ponytail down. It defied all known laws of physics, but science hadn't exactly been trustworthy lately. "If you need help getting down," he said to the newcomer, "I can help you."
