Two Worlds Come Together

Luna gave him a genuine smile. "Well I trust you to."

Luna sighed she didn't no why but she really felt like she could talk to him about the things on her mind, maybe it's because his been misunderstood like she was, and that he was being so open with her.

Sucking in a breath she kept on talking even if her head is telling her to stop. "But your right it is hard to tell the true, and if I'm honest with you I haven't been all entirely honest with her either."

Livvie let out a silent grunt when she heard what they were talking about. If they had known these walls were soundproof, they wouldn't be saying a word.

She trudged up stairs and into her room. Changing into comfy clothes, she slipped into bed.

"Today was tiring." she said softly, before falling asleep.

"You haven't?" he asked, intrigued - he hadn't suspected that, but it must not have been too much of a secret if she was willing to tell him.

Seeming to have read his thoughts Luna nodded and began to explain. "Yes I haven't the reason I'm telling you now is because she is going to find out tomorrow when I have to show Jason that magic it good, and if Livvie doesn't trust me...it will give her brother even more of a reason not to luck me, and besides you were honest. So I feel like I can talk to you, I normally talk to Thomas about these things but his not here."

He sat down on one of the pulled out couches.

"What do you mean?" he asked. He was trying to wrap his head around the implications of what she was saying, but he only knew of magic from his world. Magic could change depending on the world; there was no strict set of rules for it.

She let out a long sigh, she guessed he wouldn't get what she meant, but there was no harm in telling him the truth is there?

"I have dark Magic," Luna whispered, she was taking a big leap of faith telling him this. "It's not an easy power to control, sometimes it takes over my body when I get really mad, and then I do bad things. The reason I didn't tell Livvie is because it is dangerous if I loose control. to be frank I can kill someone."

She placed her head in her hands, her black hair falling over her face. "She'll hate me if she finds out I didn't tell her the truth."

...That was a lot darker than he had expected.

"How often does it take over?" he asked. He had dark magic, too, but it was dark in name alone - it was no worse or better than any other kind of magic out there.

Luna shrugged, "Not to often, but that's because I keep in under lock and key, but when it does come out it's really bad. I would say it comes out every second month." She lifted her head out her hands. "If I don't use it, it slowly begins to grow stronger inside me, and the cage I leave it in begins to crack."

The entire time the two were talking, Livvie had a recorder set up. Neither of them knew -- at least she hoped so.

Livvie knew they would talk basically the entire night, so she had to know everything that was going on.

And at that moment...

The recorder fell from it's hiding spot, the carpet softening its landing.

Thump.

Luna's head snapped in the direction of the sound. She stood up from the couch and walked over to the shelf she heard the sound come from. She leaned down and picked up the recorder, the little read light indicating it was recording flashing.

"What the!" She hissed, holding it up. "Did you no Livvie had put this down here?" She asked Levi.

He turned at the noise.

And then he saw the recorder.

In retrospect, he should have guessed that she would do something like that - it made sense. But all he could feel was disappointment and frustration. He was used to being treated as a villain, but at least villains got a sense of privacy.

He shook his head to answer Luna's question.

"That's nice," he said, watching Luna hold up the recorder. "You were upset about me not trusting you, but I guess I was right to."

He wasn't talking to Luna. He was talking to Livvie, and he fully intended for her to hear that recording when he confronted her in a minute.

Luna griped the recorder in her fist. "Why that cheeky little." She stopped herself from talking before she said something she will regret. instead she marched out the room up the stairs towards Livvie's room.

Thump thump thumpety thump.

Livvie could hear footsteps. As a light sleeper, she could always hear what was going on in her surroundings, and could easily be nudged awake.

These thumps were loud. Thank the Lord that Jason was a deep sleeper and that he slept in the basement. (And hopefully he was sleeping at this very moment.)

Livvie opened her eyes and seeing that no one was in the room, her heart felt lighter. She pulled the covers above her head and she dosed off again.

He followed Luna up the stairs, quickly taking the lead by the time that they got to the room.

Then he glanced behind him at Luna, took the recorder out of her hands, and quickly slid it through the doorway after opening the door - knowing that Livvie would hear the sound and see that they had discovered her little trick.

Luna stood behind Levi, boiling to the very core. She so wanted to no what Livvie was thinking trying to record what they were talking about.
