2019 Contest Thread
Hi NaPo poets, did you know you can earn badges for completing different NaPo challenges? Here is where you can find the information for how to earn and claim your badges. If you complete one of the challenges, please make a post below with the links to your poems &/or thread to show you've completed the challenge.
* Hearty Half-Way
Sometimes you don't have time to do 30 poems for NaPo. If you complete at least 15 poems over April and post them in your NaPo thread, you've won the "Hearty Half-Way" badge for your dedication! Make sure to claim the badge in the the thread below. Note that you can't get this one and the completion one - just one or the other.
* NaPo Completion
Write 30 poems in April and post in your NaPo thread. Make sure to copy and paste all the links below in a spoiler. Poems can be posted anytime during April and be any length or form to complete this challenge, the only stipulation is there must be at least 30 in your thread by the end of the month.
* Poem A Day
Here's the classic NaPo challenge! Write at least 1 poem every day of April with the correct time-stamps in your NaPo thread. (There is some leniency if you get a day or two off, but the majority should be done on the day in question and there should be at least 30 total at the end - feel free to message one of the Poetry Mods if you are unsure.)
* Garden Challenge
NaPo is mostly an individual effort, but the great thing about YWS is that we get to pursue these efforts as a community! This challenge is about encouraging your fellow writers!
So spread some joy and encouragement by completing this challenge. To claim the Garden Challenge Badge comment 30 times in the NaPo threads (other than your own), you must comment in at least 5 different threads and collect the links below. Each comment should be unique and be written in the month of April.
* Poetry Jam Master
Another great part about doing NaPo with the YWS community are the jams and workshops that are available. For this challenge, attend (or run) at least 5 different Poetry Jams or Workshops during the month of April. To count for "attendance" you need to be in the jam for at least 20 minutes and contribute to the jam discussion. Provide the links from the Writers Feed Pad & the date you attended below to make sure you can claim your badge!
Also if the times of the jams that the moderators run don't work for your schedule, feel free to run your own and get others on the site to attend! If you count a jam that you're running for this contest, it should be up for at least 30 minutes. And consider subscribing to the Poetry Jam Club so that you don't miss any of the jams available!

Also you've probably gotten the write-in one if you kept 5 links from write-ins throughout April.
