The Hippocampus (DT)

Hello folks, here's the DT for y'all! See links to the Discord and the WFP at the bottom of the introduction post on the SB. Plotting is still pretty flexible so I'm open to suggestions and whatever we come up with as a cast so long as it stays within the rough realm of there being a traitor, some adventure, and, ultimately, an encounter with the Kraken.

Hi! I always regretted not joining the last one, so I'd love to join this one as the engineer! I have some ~ideas~ for my character that I need to do some ironing out, but I should be able to get a character profile up in the very near future!

I'll take the Bosun! 'Twas fun working a bit with you on the LMS version of the Hippocampus, so it would be wonderful to actually join the crew and tinker a bit with the concept.

This looks soooo cool, but I'm not so interested in the role of surgeon. Would it be possible for me to join with a character in a different capacity, like say, the captain's apprentice?

To be fair, there are plenty of ways you could actually make that role more interesting than simply being there for the sake of support - that is if you can't negotiate your way out of the role.

Question being: what kind of character are you looking to create, m'dear? Let's assume that you do get to be a captain's apprentice - which, admittedly, could be rather interesting - what would be the things you'd want for that character to be/do?

Would it be to late for me to take up the surgeon spot?

@LordZeus Unfortunately not. We need a support character and more than 5 players tends to get a bit unmanageable. If you'd like to join you can feel free to do so as the Surgeon. Captain's apprentice is a bit mixed with First Mate - since the First Mate is the successor - but if you'd like to join with the Surgeon and do a bit of a twist with it, then that might be doable. If you don't want it then @KiraThePotatoChip, you're welcome to join!

After far too long, I finally made my character profile! I talked about her briefly over in the Discord server, but Ri's taken from my unfinished Minecraft fanfiction Ace of Hearts. I'm still figuring out a lot about her character, so it'll be interesting seeing how her involvement in this storybook turns out.
