I'm going to go with absolute minimum of 16, but remember that they'll need to be a) adequately trained for the job and b) in a dodgy enough situation in life to have to become an outlaw.

Is E'clec a name from the word "eclectic" because that's sure what this cast is so far xD was *not* expecting the flowers but I love them. But how does he keep them fresh- omg can he have a little garden on board?

Right, I finished my character and I'm not sure how to feel about him. I wanted to have a wild card character but I always play a wild card character and that's annoying, so instead I went with a nice old boy. Who also likes explosions. Really, really likes them.

I love him! He kind of reminds me of Uncle Iroh in The Last Airbender though maybe not as Zen and tea loving.
Also we need to make a lot of jokes about how Jones is the most popular name in the galaxy- it's part of Guzzler's name, and Fletcher's, and now Nelly's. Every second NPC we meet is going to be called Jones, I've decided xD

honestly that was a placeholder name until i found a more interesting one but i am so down for a running Jones joke
this is why hui can't find nelly jones. because there are like 500 nelly jones in the universe, and he's just jumping on any ship with a person named jones on it
