You do so and the broken screen starts loading something.

Huh, it apperently wants a name. And apperently all your years role playing Europe & Asia have helped out because you can figure out what its saying in that fake language.

Because of the limitations of file size, you ended up putting in Clyde Mulligan. Which is fine because that was secretly your name all along.

Input a command like "show directory" or "show files". Let's see what else is on this computer.

Putting in show directory didn't quite work for some reason, so you do what everyone else does, type help.

Which gave you:
CLS -Clears the screan
UF -Unlocks files
DEL -Deletes one file
Echo -Last Users commands
PRINT-Prints a hand held pc
INV -Locks Inventory list to bottom of screen
HUG -Opens Standard Chat App
DIR -Opens Directory
SCH -Scans
Copy -Prints selected item.
CH -Checks raw resources.

The list goes on but you feel like these are the only commands you would care about.

Even if you agree with someone elses suggestion, its still wise to comment as well, saying the same thing counts as voting for the same thing, not spamming, in this case. (also putting in as much effort as I have for only 1 or 2 replies is not great for my ego, which is what is driving me to keep making this.)

You decide the directory is the best place to look for information.



Your screen propmptly explodes. A new, fixed screen taking it's place, possibly for expositional reasons.



Though it seems only one file exist, which was made, a few minutes ago.

So you select it.





A unicode image glitchs on the screen, cutting off your ability to type.

"I...am the wandering eye."

Apperently this mess of text is the wandering eye, and has a feminine voice, their mysterious and almost ghostly tone chills the room.

"...and I welcome you to my maze. If you have any idea what you got yourself into, the myths are true, if you finish my maze I will grant you one wish."

Their tone suddently changes from dramatic to almost childish. "Though I would be amazed if you do, seriously you just blind jumped into a hole you couldn't see down. You're lucky to be alive! If this wasen't meant to be a tutorial area, I would have just left you to die down there for messing up my fancy puzzle!"

They cough once before switching tones again, back to being mysterious and ghostly.

"...If you survive, the next room after you get through that stone wall we will talk again, and I will truely welcome you to my world, and the nature of the wishs you can make."

The unicode disapears and you regain control of the screen, though your past commands seem to have been erased.

After that, use Echo and HUG to find other people.

Yeah, good idea, maybe they could give you hints about what else this computer can do.



Someone really hated what else this computer can do.

So you try out the hug command.



It seems like a pretty bare bones chat client. From what you can see there are only 4 other users. Of those, if the green means go, red means stop, rule still applies, means only one is online.

You type ESC to leave the chat menu and decide that you might as well see what the rest of these codes do.


The first needs you to define what file, so apperently its some sort of hack tool or something? You would probably have to use the help command to figure it out, so instead you decide to type in CH.

Oh right, maybe its for that pc the help line mentioned, this computer seems like it was designed to help people who are in this 'maze' that glitchy eye called it. So a hand held for it makes sense.

So you type it out and then.

"Warning, no coordinates placed, default settings used, please step away or risk atomization." It blares at you, freaking out you jump across the room, and then become very happy that you did.





"Printing process succesful, hand help pc printed. Alert, you are out of resources."

...Hooray you have a new smart phone.
