I decided to put the 'no comments' tag because I don't want to receive criticism on my NaPo poetry. I really want to focus on just writing for right now. This year I'm trying to avoid the depressive episode that usually comes along with NaPo. I tend to be too hard on myself. Though if you want to compliment my poetry for some odd reason, I don't mind. Thank you for understanding.
So this year I decided that I am at least going to try NaPo. I just don't feel comfortable not trying since I've at least tried every year I've been on YWS. Like the title says, don't expect greatness. I don't want to force anything out of myself. I know that my NaPo will not be as beautifully written and dazzling as some other poets on here so I'm not expecting anyone to follow this or think highly of it. I'm genuinely going to try without stressing myself out or causing my lack of "good" art to depress me. Also just the fact that I'm attempting this is a miracle since I'm the busiest I think I've ever been in my life right now. I'm planning on finishing my novel before April 27th so I think it will be interesting, to say the least, to be finishing a draft and writing a poem everyday. Lol and I thought March was a busy month for me.
