I eat green first since they changed it to the abomination called green apple.
Then yellow, orange, and red, saving purple for last. Purple is the best.

I go by the numbers. I group them so I have one of each color together, and then I start with the extras/smallest group and work my way up to the complete set.

@RoseAndThorn - I actually do exactly that for all colored candies where there's no difference in flavor between colors. So M&Ms and stuff.

I would eat yellow first. It’s my least favorite (besides green, which I give to my brother) so I like to get it over with and save the best for last!

I eat purple first because it's my favorite. I'm reading through the replies and apparently, people think purple is bad. I'm here to say people are WRONG.

Why does barely anyone like green?? Greens are my favorite. When I eat them by color, I eat purples and then oranges first because I don't like them that much, then it's red, yellow, and green. Reds aren't really special to me, contrary to the seemingly popular opinion.

@Lael do you still think the green ones are the best even now that they're Green Apple flavored? I used to appreciate the Lime flavor, but now that they've transitioned to the green being green apple I have to agree with @LadyLizz it's just not the same anymore.

I think you people put too much thought into Skittles. Eat 'em, they're candy.
