Do the code names have to come from a phrase? Because I was thinkin' Jazz, which had recently become a popular word back then...

@rosette I'm sure you can pick anything you want as your character's code name.

Code name: Moderately Spiced Potato.

@rosette When you say 'back then', do you mean around the sinking of the Titanic? Because from my understanding the DS game is set in our modern time, despite the characters being trapped in an early 20th century ship.

However, if Jazz is somehow related to the number four then go for it! I must agree that would be pretty cool.

If it doesn't and you're still really attached to the code name "Jazz" I can make an exception (the fact it doesn't relate to four might actually help say something about your character's personality), but if possible I would prefer us all to use related code names, seeing that most of us so far have chosen to do so.

Here are some other possibilities you might like: If your character is male, perhaps the code name "Emperor" (like the fourth card in a Tarot deck)? If female, perhaps the name "April" (like the fourth month of the year)?

But you know what's funny is there is a term in Jazz called "fours" relating to a four-bar passage so I'll stick with it, thanks!

Seraphs are six winged beings. M6 is a star cluster in the constellation Scorpius. I'm on edge between Scorpius or Seraph. Which works better?

Side note: this concept really reminds me of Danganronpa, and I don't know why.

Seraph is shorter to say. Otherwise, both are fine.

My code name is going to be like Vigilante Hope or something.

@Sheyren I feel the similarity too! I looked it up, and they were both developed by Spike Chunsoft. Also, Seraph feels better than Scorpius.

On another note, I think my character's going to be a police detective named Earth, Trip, or Aether. Haven't really decided yet.

I'm thinking of the name Augustus/Augustine for 8, but I might come up with something more clever later.

Hey guys, could we all have code names related to each character's number? I'm not sure it will work to have only half of us go with the theme.

@Wolfical Yay, that would be great And yes, they are very much connected to the first Nonary Game nine years ago. Maybe leave their history blank until I have time to PM you about their involvement. During the SB your character will be hiding their involvement and knowledge from the other characters.

@Chaser That explains a lot. Ive never actually played either this game or Danganronpa, but the concepts seemed very similar.

I've decided my characters nickname will be Seraph. So, uh, yeah.
