Why do we capital-N Nerds love Mars so much?
Because it's beautiful, it's tough, it's buried in our mythic, childhood memories.
It's covered with human triumphs but also with sad stories of failure.

Awesome just remember that they are a team sent to investigate a new dimension so they have to be in their late teens and early twenties at the very youngest.

@Oswin1800 I have a question about this team.

How were these guys chosen? were they all part of some group together, or were they just picked up off the streets because they had a certain quality or power necessary to the success of the mission? How are all these characters connected?

Also, are we going with a different dimension or using the same one as as last time?

I'm not sure about how we are going to do the dimensions yet. Perhaps another vote?

The team was selected by the government or science organization of the dimension our characters came from. If it helps imagine NASA found a new planet and could send people to it. What kinds of people would they send? We can argue that because of the nature of the portal they had to send relatively young people which our characters seem to be. It is safe to say that some of them may have worked together previously and some may have been added just for the mission. It could go a lot of different directions if we wanted it to. Some of the characters could have snuck in at the last second as well. The idea is pretty open.

Alright you guys we need to work on building our character slate right now. Once we get a few more characters we can start to post in the storybook. I have created a writerfeedpad and I will put the link below and in my first post. I will try to go in there every day and hopefully I can chat with you all about the characters we have now. If anyone knows people that would like to join please let them know!

We can't start until we get at least 3 more characters to work with. That's the goal at least.

@Oswin1800 do you want to get on the Pad? I can talk some if you'd like to discuss stuff over the plot and Seung.
