Click on the big Blogs button in the header, then go to your blog control panel. The instructions after that are pretty straitforward, but if you need/want more help send me a PM.

How do you post a story? It's kind of confusing for me.

To post a story you click the writing icon on the header and then click submit something. You click what you want to submit, either poetry, stories, art/photography, etc. That's pretty much it. :)

umm, hi, I'm sort of new here, what was that about, rating, I think, your own stories? I didn't fully understand, if you have a story that's not so appropriate then you have to write an R right? but what do you do if your story is perfectly regulaur for its catagory?
thanks in advance!

Hey Ofir

Welcome to YWS. The basic rule is that whenever you submit a story, you should rate it based on who can read it. For example if there is violent language like the "F-Word", you should rate it R. If not, it is not essential to rate your story, but it is helpful to do so. You can rate it R, PG-13, PG, or G.

Yeah, start a new topic. That's what most members do, and it's fine. As long as you've been reviewing enough ;)

Hi Ofir. You should probably make a new topic. It's best if you label it like 'My Story: Chapter 2' or 'My Story Part 2' or something along those lines. It helps people keep track of your things. If you find yourself losing track as well, you can create folders to place your things.
There once was a cat.
He wasn’t particularly fat.
Fuzzy was his favorite mat.
And really, that was that.

Oh, but did you really think so?
Keep reading, it’s just the start of the show!
And as for how far this tale will go…
Well, even the cat doesn’t know.

Me have a question.

When you make a blog and you use the Infinity one how do you enter a background? I've seen other blogs that have a background but I don't know how to make one too.

Help, please?

Go to your blog control panel. Then, scroll down to general settings and under there on the left you'll see 'Background image'. Here you can enter a URL for a picture for the background. Click submit once you've entered it and you should then have an image. From your blog CP you can fiddle around with all the settings and colours to what best suits you.

Let's say "hypethetically" I got a 15 chapter story/novel (part 1 of 4 of the series) that averages about 4 pages per chapter. What is the most effective way of presenting it?

Present it by chapter. If you present it by pages, it will be more forgettable and confusing. Don't worry if it's long, there are many posts here that are long.
