Hello, everyone! This is where we can post our questions, concerns, and ideas for this storybook. Please subscribe to both this and the actual storybook so you will be kept up to date.

It has been brought to my attention that some elaboration on the details of this storybook are needed. So here is the promised elaboration.



There is no specific map for this story. As we go along, we can create various locations in various ecosystems, such as the desert, jungle, and savanna. There is one established major city in the world: Mineplex. Mineplex is the center of Minecraftian business, religion, and also partially home to the Resistance. More on the Resistance in a short bit.



There have been many updates to Minecraft over the years. This storybook includes everything so far: basically, everything in Version 1.10 of Minecraft. If you are ever confused on a concept (like what an elytra is), you can check out the Minecraft Wiki for information on it.



A group of individuals dedicated to defeating Notch, anyone who believes Herobrine is the true good guy will travel with the hooded figure to the Resistance's secret headquarters, which is located outside of Mineplex.

Not all members of the Resistance believe Herobrine is good. They do, however, all share the belief that Notch needs to be overthrown.

The leader of the Resistance is a teenager named Ryder Salvai, who I will be writing as.



Anyone who chooses to believe in Notch has more options than the ones who don't. They can join Notch's forces, or try to fight against the Resistance. Another option that may be more appealing is to tell the hooded figure they believe in Herobrine, only to traitor later on. If that is the case, please mention it here.

People who choose to believe in Notch do not agree with the Resistance's ideals.



Neutral characters will support both sides. They can join either side during the course of the storybook. Neutrals are typically people who supply goods and weapons; blacksmiths, redstone engineers, merchants, builders, etc.



There are a variety of jobs your character can have, and here are just several examples you can use as a starting point:

Mob Fighter
Redstone Engineer
Village Guard
Merchant
Notch's Army Soldier
Librarian
Builder
Potion Maker/Witch (Whichever You Prefer)
Fisherman/Fisherwoman
Farmer
Baker
Priest

You can come up with whatever you want. If it doesn't work, I will PM you about it.

Ack fine I'm in! Character profile will be up when I think of a good character, but for now I'm thinking they'll probably be a strip miner? Which would be a bit different from a caver because less mobs.

Hi @Sheyren, and hai to everyone else. @Mage thanks for tagging me, btw. You may want to go back to your previous SB's DT though, I believe someone else wanted to be tagged for this kind of occasions.

Now then! My health currently prevents me to be too active in general, which is why - as long as Mage agrees - I'll try to act as a crazy chaotic neutral character attempting to move the plot for both sides, not really caring much about their conflict. So... Yeah, that would be the point of my character. I'll try to make the character template as soon as I can move.

That sounds good to me. I did try telling @DreamingForever about this, but I haven't gotten a response yet

For everyone who hasn't submitted a character, I would like to say something. There's already three neutral characters (Sivv, Lazuli, and @Tortwag's character), so I would prefer if your character was either on Notch's or Herobrine's side. As of right now, only Brinley is on Notch's side. Herobrine's side includes Greywood and my character Ryder.
