Getting in Shape… Poems

Summary: With the long-awaited 2016 YWS Writing Olympics finally at your doorstep, it’s about time your creative muscles got into shape. What better way to warm up than with a shape poem?

How to enter: In order to submit your poem, you must create it on some sort of writing platform that grants freedom to the crazy formatting you’re likely to require. Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and most any other program will do, but trying to post the direct text on this thread would be a nightmare. Therefore, it’s best to take a screenshot of your finished work and then post it here.

Description: Typically, a shape poem focuses on one item, molding the lines and verses into the shape of the object it is describing. An example of such a poem is @Moo’s Magpie, which, while describing the ninth life of a black cat, also embraces a feline form.

Your shape poem can be about absolutely anything. Judging will be based mainly upon shape difficulty, creativeness, and clarity, among other obvious things like voice and language.

Best of luck to you, brave Olympians, and I look forward to seeing your creative entries! If you have any questions, send me a PM or use the DT. You have exactly one day to get your entries in!
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.
I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled
and do not be afraid.

We're all stories in the end.

I think of you as a fairy with a green dress and a flower crown and stuff.

Entry. More difficult than I anticipated. Was originally going to do a poem about Brexit in the shape of the UK flag, but this will do.

Spoiler
There's a few errors; spelling or missing words. I really don't want to do this again. x.x

Mine is a trumpet! I tried to focus more on also creating good imagery in itself as well so I think the actual image may have suffered a bit ;-;

Did it on Google Drive so I dunno how good it is but here:

Let's see if this works... technology is not my strong point so there is a good chance this poem will actually never be read...

Inferno, Canto 27, l 61-66.

"Eternity, I hear you calling, but you will not have me yet."

I was flummoxed by fractious Franny's decision to abrogate analgesics for the moribund victims of the recent conflagration. Of course, to display histrionics was discretionary, but I did so anyways, implicating a friend in my drama to make the effect cumulative. I think a misanthrope would have a prosaic appellation, perhaps one related to autonomy and the rejection of anthropocentrism. I think they wouldn't think much of the prominence of watching the coagulation of tea to prognosticate future malevolent events, not even if those events were related to jurisprudence.
