@Wolfical Jade is a border town in a fictional county almost on the line between Arizona and New Mexico. It was named Jade after the mines that produce the mineral of the same name.

@AnnGrace Do you mean a gang that isn't the Hartigan gang? So far there are two established gangs, the Hartigans and a as-yet-to-be-named gang that aren't criminals in the traditional sense, and thus probably weren't the ones to have killed Jacob's father. More info on them later though. Were you thinking of a third possible gang?
i don't really care if it's the Hartigan gang or not. They seem to be the "bad guys" menacing the area, so they'd be good. But anyone got a specific character that would be Jacob's arch enemy?

My gang isn't a traditional gang who would purposely kill Jacob's father but maybe through a misunderstanding of who was involved in the killing, my character and yours could be enemies? @AnnGrace Just a thought?
I dunno. Jake's pa was a sheriff to, so it would have to be a gang of really bad dudes. the story goes, there was a bank hold up and then when the shooting broke out.....
