Yeah, enjoy the song! It's definitely not perfect, and I do slip up a few times, but I hope all this effort was worth it. And I don't usually have sheet music, so I'd have to apologize for that, @AstralHunter. It's mostly because of the fact that a. the song is always entirely in my head, b. I never play it the same twice (mostly because that gives me a chance to come up with new ideas and revise the song as necessary), and c. I'm not good with sheet music. At all.

@Poopsie: Well, usually, when I come up with a song, I base it partly off of another one that I might be playing at the time - usually the scale. So I have one in A minor that was inspired by Fur Elise, although the song itself is quite separate. However, in this case, I was just experimenting with different scales and thought I'd like to try and make a song in B major. So yeah, all the chords are my own, although I tend to move up and down the keys with my right hand in a lot of my songs. Habit, I guess.

@TheSilverFox, apparently, my brother thinks it sounds like a horror song at the start. I, however, like how you change pace from slow to animated after about a minute and a half. Overall, I think it's a laudable effort. I like it. Well done!

So the post is pretty much written and done (I am supposed to be writing flood stuff, yeah? It's been a while since I legitimately talked to any of you about this.) I just need to run a few questions by Robusto and/or Hunter and make sure I'm remembering things correctly.
Anyways, my primary excuse for not finishing sooner is that when I wasn't cleaning my grandparents' house, I was out with two middle-aged ladies who haven't seen each other in three years. I think we all know where that can lead. Also, holy cow the internet at my grandparents' house was sketch.
Yeah. I have a number of snow delays/cancellations coming up this week, so I'll be available more often to talk plot and... whatever it is we want to talk about. (Y'all might have heard about flooding in Cali? Same system up here, only it hasn't gotten above freezing all week.)
