@Stegosaurus, @Tortwag

It could be reflected in New York, for spirits and humans able to see them. Not physically in New York, but like the surface of a pond reflecting the trees above, the Earth will sometimes reflect an. (I'm using that as a simile, I like it XD)

That's what I was thinking. Most likely some humans could see Gar walking about, all suspicious or something. If some spirits see him, he could put on his cloak thingy and "hide" from them. I have some more ideas, but I don't want to spoil my post. ;)

...Actually... Yeah. Yeah, that's a brilliant idea. Like some "natural phenomenon" happening that's in fact the reflection of the Parade. That could work!

And yeah don't spoil your post, Stego. Just cook your things up and make sure it's tasty enough for us after you're done :3

Anyone mind if Benji happens to just like, accidentally trip and fall into the parade?

Just make it look believable. I can't speak for others, but I wouldn't mind, as long as it's after or before my parade-crashing move.

Note @Tortwag, you said the three assured characters are all three Deities (previous page... Sorry I only just woke up) That is partially true, since Allagi was a Deity, he became a dalkhu-deity, remember...

Also, as for the natural phenomenon, how about the Aurora Lights? I know it's uncommon outside of the Arctic Circle, but thankfully the Parade doesn't happen every year. People would certainly be mesmerized (and afraid) if they saw the Auroras over their cities like that... Just a suggestion

@TheClockworkConjurer Well I count Allagi as a deity, even though he's a Dalkhu now. But yes, you're right.
As for th Aurora Lights, yup, that's actually the main one I had in mind. It's usually the thing that's used to show "natural" versions of paranormal activities.

He still technically is a deity. Also, the people who can see deities would be able to see them walking the streets, yes?

Okay, okay xD After a solid hour of reading posts, rereading posts and reading the DT I think I'm actually caught up now. But a little confused. >.>

Where is the parade and why do the deities have to travel there? Is it not in the an-place thingy? (If so isn't that where the deities live or am I totally missing something?)

So those who intent to be "Aspiring Deities" are already there and accepted in a sense? Or do they have to be judged? What is the parade exactly for? I mean I know it's to gather people but is it just a celebration for the new people or...? Just a little confused here xD

Next thing: what is the "relationship" of the netherworld to the an or to earth or something? I just don't understand. (It might not help that I'm trying to cram like a week's worth of stuff into my head in an hour.)

Final thing for @Sagitta ~ Is it possible for a genii to be bound to a deity at one point but then later on "break" away from them? Perhaps if they are too weak/broken to hold on?

(I lied. Last thing: I loved allllll the post xD Totally hyped for Trent to join in on the fun. Wandering: Slight idea, would it be at all possible for Trent to just kinda sneak in after Sohpie when she opens the thing even if he has absolutely no idea what he's doing? >.> )

I apologize for my incompetence. ._.

@SpiritedWolfe

~ The Parade is in an, but is reflected onto ki (Earth) through natural phenomenons (like aurora borealis) to normal humans. People able to communicate with spirits well will be able to see the Parade as if it were happening on the streets of their cities.

Some deities will live in an. Some will travel between like Myza, and some will not live there, either because they cannot afford it or because they choose not to.

Aspiring deities will have to impress gods in order to have a chance. They will be taken in as a sort of apprentice, learning the ways of gods, the ettiquette, and what they must do in order to keep balance in an, ki and the nether world.

an, ki and the nether world are like layers. They are, geographically, exact copies of one another, and often cities will have been built in exactly the same places in all three worlds. They can be reached through various places - the oldest routes are often ancient places of worship, but nowadays gates are everywhere. 'Atugenii' (gatekeeper spirit) guard them and let most pass, unless a particular creature is in deep trouble with someone, or is an infamous dalkhu-creature. The earth and the heavens are collectively known as an-ki.

Feel free to question-bomb me anytime, I love it! It actually helps me develop the SB further.

Edit: ahh, I forgot to add - not every gate is guarded. In fact, only Kadingir is guarded. What I mean by that is the gates dotted around the Earth and the nether world are only passages to the outer 'edge' of an. Perhaps it would make more sense with a diagram...

Also in answer to your question about Trent, @SpiritedWolfe, technically, yes. If he can see it, he can go. However, it's when they reach Kadingir that might cause some trouble.

@SpiritedWolfe That amazing feeling when you finally catch up... XD
Glad you enjoyed all of the posts, and yeah, we need Trent to be in this thing :3 Not to mention, according to Sagi's answers to your questions, as long as he can see spirits, he can see the Parade happening even if he's on Earth. So you can just have him like... sneak in a park or something, sit down and watch it like he'd be watching TV. That mught avoid potential trouble, methinks.

...Food for thought.

Just adding this: he is not actually at the Parade on Earth. Gods on Earth are also 'half-corporeal'. They are invisible to normal humans but can sometimes be seen out of the corner of one's eye. They cannot be touched unless they wish to be.

There is the possibility that if he reached Kadingir he could be killed. As Tortwag said, if he watched it from Earth he would avoid trouble. Gods would be able to see his 'aura', but they wouldn't worry.
