Amazing work!

I was supposed to have a productive night and get a bunch of things done. It didn't go so well. While I was productive, I started and finished only one thing, and it wasn't one of the things I was supposed to get done. Well, here you have it.

He's a hippie, but more modern?? Who knows. Lol.

I finished The Wolf Among Us recently and that beaaautiful art style inspired me to try this comic-book-esque shading. I didn't use a single reference for this guy, yayy. Getting better at people from memory. But, alas - only dudes! This actually started out as a female but then, as always happens with me, the body structure was just too masculine and I gave in to my usual ways. Either way, my anatomy is probably still messed up, but I'm happy with his face.

I made this a few months ago but totally forgot to post it here!

"Dog Ross" - a huge 2 x 4 foot acrylic painting on a ceiling tile! I had about five days to paint it so I was rushed and I'm not totally happy with the final product. Particularly the water and the island/inlet thing. Bleah.

This is a special project that only seniors in the advanced art class at my high school are allowed to participate in! The classroom ceiling is covered with 2 x 4 paintings by past students. There must be almost 100 of them. Don't quote me on that though because I'm not good with numbers. At the end of your senior year, you paint over an old ceiling tile, which is painful not only because it requires smacking on layers upon layers of white paint which takes days to do, but because you're covering someone else's beautiful work!

Anyway, I decided to go with a Bob Ross inspired painting featuring my dog!

Wow! It's so beautiful!! But I loved the water... And the island also ... Like ... doing it in just 5 days!?? Oh... That's a little sad part... Covering someone's else's beautiful work... But this picture is just awesome!!! Beautiful painting........<3 <3

@soundofmind aaa thank you! The mountain range was actually pretty easy! You let the palette knife do most of the work, and the rocks and detail appear like magic. Bob Ross magic. <3
