PMD: Seventeen Plates DT 2

Looks like everyone's busy in one way or another, and I'm certainly not an exception. I'm probably not going to on for the entirety of tomorrow and part of Friday, so I'll be hard pressed to post my filler post by the end of today. My reasoning is undisclosed, mainly because the whole matter is personal, and I like to leave as much of my life as possible a mystery. Ah well, at least I have a few hours of time and a mostly complete story to work with. It can't get much easier than that. Have a fun time, @Charizard821! The play sounds awesome, and I wish I could see it, but I don't live anywhere near New York. *shrugs*

@Verser: A conflict between Ho-Oh and Frost? You just made my day - they are both super-powered, awesome, and I'm really eager to see that, particularly after having composed my plans and learning of other plans. This is going to be one of the most epic plots I've ever participated in, and I'm going to have a lot of fun writing. XD

@Buggiedude2340: Excellent job! The post was epic! It was neat seeing the conflict resolved and the aftermath, as well as their return to Frostpoint and the eagerness they have. The race was hilarious, and the details you provided of the beautiful scenery were fantastic. Nice job implementing the Chinese words in the story - they made the post all the more incredible and thoughtful. Great job!

@15253, @Verser: Oh, you mean this bomb shelter? I bought it from some shady dealer, so it's all mine now. I'm going to use it and plot your destruction, so beware.

@Robusto: Three posts? Wow, thank goodness this is Spring Break and I have all the time in the world before school returns for another two months. XD. Nonetheless, I never seem to have a problem with school. My activity will surely decrease from its present point, but I will still be able to continue my writing (at least until the Five Finals. Yeah.....) and will do my best. I must be a master of logistics or something.

@Tortwag: If you noticed, I'm doing this on purpose by talking to you last. I read your latest post in its entirety, and I must say that I am impressed with what you have created. You couldn't have done better. It's fun seeing Twinkiel meeting Aegeas, considering they have entirely different personalities. You described Aegeas's nature perfectly, and that conversation was hilarious. But if you think Twinkiel confused everyone at that table, wait until you see what happens to Aegeas.

Anyways, I liked the part where Twinkiel met Mewtwo. It was an interesting bout of minds. Mewtwo's philosophical questions were fascinating, but Twinkiel's answers were even better. And the music is so awesome. You did fantastic, and I'm eager to see what you create next!

Yep, that's about it for what I have to say. Now I'm trying to expel a really annoying song from my head by listening to my favorite tracks for the next hour. That's me, and I'm mysterious that way.

Oh, @Verser, I forgot to comment on your comment.

It would actually be fantastic if Frost could interfere with the fight, since distracting Ho-Oh's attention would be exactly what Ren anf Gabriel need to escape. (Ren would be able to keep the other 'Mon busy until then anyway.) Thank you for your consideration.

However, @TheSilverFox seems to be confused. Silver, I doubt that Frost and Ho-Oh will actually fight.
1. In a fight between a major Legendary with centuries of fighting behind him and a minor Legendary who is already powerful, but can only really contend because he retrieved a Plate, I think it's obvious who would win. (Of course, if Frost was to go up against Virizion, for example, he would win.)
2. Frost will already be in trouble because he disobeyed a superior's direct orders. Fighting said superior would therefore be a one-way trip to punishment.
3. Frost currently uses the Mind Plate, but if he goes around doing whatever he wants to and attacking whoever he wants to, he will most certainly be relieved of it. Besides, who says Arceus would even allow Frost to keep it? It is, after all, a sacred artefact, and just the fact that a human is using such an item could cause uproar among the Legendaries of the New Order. Hoopa might even have instructed them to find the Mind Plate because he wanted it for himself. The possibilities are endless.

So, the most likely sequence of events is:
~ Frost arrives to help with the battle.
~ Ho-Oh notices Frost and then throws a tantrum about his orders being defied.
~ Gabriel and Ren take the opportunity to pick up Fleur and Aegeas, respectively, and retreat to Frostpoint.
~ Ho-Oh proceeds to scold Frost for letting them escape and then (possibly) does something to rectify matters. (@Robusto knows what this might be.)
~ [noun] then [present singular verb] [nouns] and [present singular verb] to [present singular verb] the [noun] from [noun].

I hope we're on the same page now, Silver.

Yeah, there might be a small exchange of blows, where Ho-oh, being an arrogant snob, decides to try and scold Frost by throwing fireblasts at him (Which won't work) anyway, Frosts master, another legendary, will step in and settle the matter with Frost submitting

@Verser, I guess you'd go for the most ironic choice and make it Kyurem.

Sigh. So much homework. And to make matters worse, our school neon dance was cancelled. I was looking forward to that.

Can someone post a link to what we had decided on as the main theme. I've also found a theme for Sully, New Order Desert Ranger Darius, a Resistance main theme, and Keelah the Cannibal's battle theme.

@Robusto That. WAS. INCREDIBLE. The War post is even better than Twinkiel's war scene (and quite intense, too), then you've created a family bond between Spadassya and Sully (which inclines ,my brain to go ahead and use this unlikely link later on), oh and Sully's story was especially amazing, speakin' of which! It's ffascinating to me how Dorian acts like the perfect mercenary. Twinkiel would probably act like him if he was doin' his job (well except he would've totally killed Sully on the spot to avoid later revenge). I'm especially interested by that Super Missile version of Pin Missile part, too. It basically sounds like a Megaman Charged Shot, and I'm likin' the sound of that.
That aside... Wow. Zulu just made a tremendous mistake. A question though: Ariala's now infatuated with Zulu, which means that everytime she'll see him, she'll act like a love-powered creep, right? Darn, that's bad. That's really really bad, but that's also very funny.
Both Spadassya and Twinkiel would've killed him if Spadassya had been the target, though (and don't even get me started on her father). I also like how easy to read those post were, especially Alek's post. Well done with that.

@TheSilverFox I didn't notice, actually, I just thought you did it 'cause I had posted last.
Why thank you! Glad you liked Twinkiel's come back as much as I enjoyed writin' it And glad I portrayed Aegeas well, too. Wasn't too had: he reminds me a lot of my brother.
OH YEAH. That. Aegeas' prophecy, man... I'm still havin' trouble reading through your very detailed description (mostly because they live no place to imagination, which I crave), but they were great. And to be fair, Silver's poetry in this post made up for everythin' else. Like... That was impressive poetry, really, I loved it.
