As Ethel Peas from Thoroughly Modern Millie would say, GOOD NIGHT! I leave for twenty-four hours and I come back to three new pages of DT and six posts to read? Y'all are really something.

Anywho, I'll be hanging around tomorrow afternoon (PST time) if y'all want to shoot me some ideas for how to go about that group picture. Interactions, silliness, anything you think would look good.

(This may take a while. It's been some time since I drew pokemon, and I need to draw a few studies of each species first.)

Here's my take on each character.

Zulu is the more shy of the group
Ren is the Stoic warrior, but still has a sense of humor
Frost is the sort of joyful psychic
Bloodmoon is the sarcastic group clown
Riley is the Brains
Gabriel is the brash thinker with a sort of rivalry with Riley
Flurry seems just a little shy, but also energetic
You cannot comprehend Twinkiel's personality
And I don't know enough about Aegeas or Jewel to describe their personality. Hopefully this will help with deciding how each character should behave in the pic. If I'm wrong with anyone's character personality, please correct me.

@Robusto I'm pretty sure you got everyone's personality right, so far.
Including Twinkiel's, though he's quite the show-off, I might add, hence my request of adding an actual fleece cape for him. Fits him and his eventual overly dramatic pose.

Anyways, I believe Aegeas' personality is more wise and powerful than anything else. Out of the group, he is most like a Legendary. Also, I believe Riley and Gabriel are both the brains. They have different qualities the other does not possess. Riley thinks in the moment, and has very sharp reflexes both mentally and physically. Gabriel thinks generally, and uses very technical terms to get across what he has to say, while his reflex time leaves something to be desired in the mental aspect. Just my thoughts on the matter.

@Robusto, I am even more intrigued than before. WHAT IS THIS DITTOTHINGY?!

@TheSilverFox, those three posts were amazing. I quite enjoy your writing style as well. I am glad you decided to join this SB - it will certainly be fun writing with you.

So, I realize that there's been some confusion as to the choice of Riley's second theme, as well as why I'd consider it a fitting group theme. (Despite @Robusto's clear authoritative figure.) I PM'd Hunter about this, and he though I should share it with all of you. So here you go, the reason I chose the song:

Before I get into this, it is only fair to allow you to listen to the song once again yourself.





Now, to begin with the explanation of the relevance to our SB. Now, this will be from the perspective of Riley, although it could also relate to the group, which is why I suggested it as a group theme. Let's begin with the lyrics:

We're the stars in the sky tonight.
Make you feel like there is no time.

These first two lines demonstrate the importance of our group, as well as the hope that resides in the hearts of the Resistance to defeat the New Order.

And if the world spins upside-down, don't worry.

The pre-chorus is, understandably, the most significant part of the song to the story. It depicts how our characters' worlds were flipped upside down when they were brought over to this world to fight in a war they had no part of. Nevertheless, the second and fourth lines of the chorus represent our determination and acceptance of this change, as well as the belief that everything will be alright.

This line represents our roots as characters, and the reason we are who we are, and contribute the way we do to this wonderful story.

See, the goal is to live our life fast.
Will you become famous at last?

These lines represent our pure uncertainty of what will arise from this situation. Will we become heroes, recognised as such by the Pokémon of the Continent, or will we be defeated? Our goal however, is to end this quickly by finding the Plates and returning to our old lives, thus, living our lives as Pokémon fast.

These lines represent where our story nears it's end. It represents the struggle and hardships we've gone through to complete our tasks, but is coupled with our undying hope to finish what we started, and also the relief to come when all of this ends.

When you put it that way, I think it makes a great group theme. I hereby elect it as the official Humon theme.

Let's see...
-Zulu the Noibat: Shy, in need of self-confidence and maybe delusional - it does feel like he's a bit of a dreamer.
-Ren: serious and reliable fighter, and sociable enough to talk to. And from what I've sen recently, DO NOT make this guy angry.
-Frost: Loyal, always in good mood. Strong Pokémon with tremendous potential.
-Bloodmoon: ...Well Robusto pretty much summed it up here. Sarcastic jester of the team, but serious in battle when he actually wnats to.
-Riley: Rash and strong, i wouldn't exactly consider him as the brains, but IS a quick thinker and relies a lot on his instinct, which actually helps.
-Gabriel: Definitely the brains, here. Thinks a lot, analyzes talks a lot, keeps his doubts inside of him (putting aside Fleur's intervention). Precise fighter who would rely more on strategy than sheer instinct.
-Flurry: energetic is the word, yes. I'd see her as an amazing moral support, and we haven't really seen her fight yet, so can't say much in that aspect.
-Twinkiel: Well I know him the most, since I made him.
He's a show-off, but... He's awkward. He likes to socialize with people, but he also likes to scare them. He tries to get as much knowledge of everything around him as he can, and he's quite the strategy guy. As for the fighting part... Anything goes. He makes a plan (be it sadistic, dastardly, honest or not) and follows it. Dot.
-Aegeas: I'd go with solitary and wise. Got LOTS of experience, extremely reliable, but... Kinda somber. He really reminds me of Red, except the Dewott actually talks. Fighting style? He's a master at what he does. Dot.
-Jewels: So far, really playful (casually plays around with a dangerous legendary on first encounter. Badass). That's really all I can say.
