@Tortwag, for the moment, it isn't necessary, so just continue with normal time. After all, the rest of our characters still need to catch up. O_o Wait a moment, that means we need you to stall, but not for too long. Okay, change of plans: stretch that day's action out for as long as possible. Zulu's party ought to reach the jungle at the same time or a little after your party does, so that's not a problem. In three days' time, Gabriel & Co. ought to have located the Plate's location and should be on their way to the Alchemist's Tower.

In short, stretch the conflict out, yes, but stretch it out in as short as possible a time frame - make the day seem like it never ends.

In other words, Tort, details, details, and more details!

Also, tech week starts tomorrow! I mean, it lasts longer than a week, but like, I'll be at school very, very late until the 30th of January.

@AstralHunter Ah, you DO need me to stall. That's exactly what I was asking. I think Zulu's party WILL join quite after mine and Frost's do, however as, well... We're pretty much already there XD
Make the day seem like it never ends... Hmm. Then I'll need one day + one night to end this conflict. So by the next day I'm expecting Celebi to tell me that the others arrived or are super close, basically.
This is getting... Very exciting.

@Buggiedude2340 I love details :D
Oh. That's too bad. Survive to your life, then! Once that's done, we'll greet you with some cookies :3

How about, instead of capturing legendaries. We attempt to assassinate them. Not only is this more realistic but it also solves the problem of having thundurus and tornadus together.

@15253 Four major issues I see with that.
1: We're part of the good guys, and guys like Mewtwo used to be ready to kill everyone in his way to fulfill a goal. If a guy like him decided to be part of the good guys, one of the things he must've promised himself to avoid reverting to his old agressive side is NOT killing. And that's just one example. Killing is a very rutheless act. Not everyone can handle it.
2: Um... thing is, if we start killing, NO will realize that we're not holding anything back, and they'll start killing MUCH MORE than usual just for that reason. Especially if Hoopa's in the lead. So a bloodbath wouldn't exactly be the best option for us here. It would actually be less productive for us if we start acting like that.
3: how would the other Pokémon see us if they learn that we kill just as much as NO to fulfill our goals? They'd believe that we're no better than NO, and thus that it would be best if both NO AND us disappeared. So yeah. I'm gonna go ahead and say no. Doesn't mean we can't torture the prisoners a bit though...
4: Yeah, um, not everyone's gonna agree, and the last thing we need is bad coordination in the group.

We could do that, but once we go down that road, you can be certain the New Order will retaliate in kind. Not only will Latias, Articuno and perhaps even Xerneas be killed, but the New Order will hunt down the members of the Resistance with even more vigour.

I can also add that once our characters start killing Legendaries, they'll be no better off than the members of the New Order. Actually, since they'll have drawn first blood, they would be worse than the New Order. I can also assure that the Resistance would lose a great many of its members, and dissension among their ranks would suit Arceus and Hoopa just fine.

Sorry! We must have been writing our posts at the same time, except I got sidetracked and only submitted it later.

Ignore my comment - Tortwag's is more detailed.

@AstralHunter Hey, at least we can see that our reasoning's similar! That's always good thing!

Two things. 1: I don't think assassination is a good plan. It just doesn't seem to follow the story correctly. Our goal is to stop the NO using the Plates, not kill them off with our power. (If it was, the Legendaries would have chosen more powerful allies.) I mean, outside of Absol and a very, very angry Twinkiel, I can't see any of our characters blatantly murdering other Pokemon. (Unless it's death in an epic battle scene, like the Mega Guardians.) 2: There's something I'd like to point out about the meeting. Whether or not it is planned for Articuno to be rescued by the group, Riley will be making that trip on his own, out of pure reckless emotional drive. I had assumed that @AstralHunter had understood when I first explained it, but I guess it's my fault for not doing it better. Just a heads up.

Don't forget, Hoopa isn't the leader of the NO. Arceus is. If one of his lieutenants were captured, he'd be willing to give one of their Resistance prisoners back. Besides, Latias isn't guaranteed to be in top condition once they get her back.

@Charizard821 Pretty much agree with your first point there, yeah.

Pure emotional drive you say? Oh gosh, that plan of yours sounds more and more interesting. I can't wait to see you pull it off.

Though I didn't really forget about that, I kind of believe Hoopa's the more... Um... Active... In the killing/torturing/messing with one's mind department than most other Legendaries. Heh, and even worse in his Unbound form.

"Latias isn't guaranteed to be in top condition once they get her back." Well that pretty much sums it up.

You and your plot twists, Robusto! I think I'll be a muddled puddle of feelings at least half-way through this SB.

I'll be posting the next (and last for a while) of Bloodmoon's quest tomorrow, along with the next part of Zulu and Ren's quest for the plate.
