Seriously though, this problem took me forever to figure out. I exported and imported the posts database so many times (67 megabyte file) that my internet connection kept on konking out on me. I tried a find and replace, but then found out it kept crashing my computer. Then ran so many sql queries that I didn't know what was what.

And then the fix. The thing that worked. Took me only one minute, involved no uploading or exporting or whatever! Just needed to change the character encoding. Tried that earlier, but didn't change the data entry for the encoding in the main language file. Thought it was unimportant, but I guess it wasn't.

Anyways, it's all fixed now.

Just to tell you Nate something wrong with Quotes you can't see them except for a white box with the word quote on it. Another thing is when i try to get on some threads this comes up Template->make_filename(): Error - file ./templates/iCGblue/viewtopic_attach_body.tpl does not exist

Well, all these problems are my fault so I'm just cleaning up after my mistakes. If I would just leave things alone, none of this type of stuff would ever happen.

It's still on the front page (the problem that is).

And the blogs are still a little weird. Otherwise, pretty awesome!

It's still like that in my profile items... I fixed one of the pieces already; does it have to be done manually or is it one of those things that can be changed with your admin powers?

WL5 & Snoink, the problems apply to specific tables in the database. So far, I've only fixed the table that handles the text of all posts, but not the tables that handle the stuff on the front page or the tables that handle the blog. The blogs I'll fix, but everything else is fixable either by the user (sigs) or will look no different once it's updated (word of the week).
