Cause Us Emotional Pain

First I will introduce the people that will be assissting me with this contest: @RavenMoonStone (Raven), @Thewriter13 (Writer), @ContestPointPool (Cona). Cona : So... This is called Cause Us Emotional Pain. It's purpose is to make us feel pain when we read your works.I Raven : For example: when we say "cry", we mean, "Make us cry because the whole story is so emotional" Not, "Make us cry because the story is so bad, with the bad grammar and horrible plot." Got it? Good. Writer : When we read your works, make your words stab us in the heart! I want to feel sorrow and suffering for the characters you develop, the plots you unfold, and the dialogue you construct. When you start brainstorming for this short story, think of the saddest plot you could come up with. Sure it won't be Rue's death, but I'm sure you coulld come up with something even more emotional than that. :) Make sure to use as many description as you can in order to create a more detailed, more sorrwful story. Cona: The rules for the short stories are simple. 1. The short story has to be AT LEAST 500 words long, 2000 at the max. (Title does not count in the word count) 2. This CANNOT be fan fiction. 3. The story has to be written during the duration of the contest. Anything written before hand will not be accepted. 4. You can have up to THREE entries. However, each work has to have a different plot (So, you can have two poems and one short story, or two short stories and one poem. PLEASE NOTE: You can submit only one, if you would like. If you would like to submit only two, do so.) 5. This contest shall be up until August 1st. Raven : Prizes for the short stories: First Place: 1000 points, three reviews. Second Place: 500 points, two reviews. Third Place: 250 points, one review. Runners up will each get a gift, donated by RavenMoonStone. If you win, you can request reviews from Thewriter13, RavenMoonStone and ContestPointPool. Thewriter13 is good at descriptive short stories. RavenMoonStone is good at realistic dialogue. ContestPointPool is not good at reviewing, but, she can work on plot. Writer : Poetry Guidelines: 1. Poems should be 150 words min, 200 max. 2. This cannot be based on fanfiction 3. Must contain at least 3 senses (sight, sound, smell, taste, hear) 4. The poem has to be written during the duration of the contest. I'm entering this. (Has some great ideas for this) I can't wait!

I am going to write some stories(some really emotionally sad) that are based on a real thing that happened to my mom or my ancestors.

I'm really great with limits on words. Sorry, but it's about two hundred or so words above 2,000, but I worked really hard on it. Hope you like it.

Attention all who participated:
Raven will be back Wednesday, I think, so that will be the time we announce the winners of each category.
Unfortunately, we didn't get as many submission as we had hoped (thank goodness we got at least more than one in each category >.<)
If you subscribed to the club and have not submitted, please do so, so Raven and I can judge more works and so the contest will have more of a competition! Thanks so far to all who have submitted, but we need more people making us cry!
