Does that mean I still have time to change my first one of my losers' heat poems if I do so please?

No, you can't change your first poem - the judging has already commenced for those. However, there is still time to alter your second until 10pm GMT which is three hours from now.

Round 2 Results

Those with a bolded name are the winners of Round 2 (part A) and those whose names are struck through failed to submit their poem on time. Since there was a draw in one of the sets, both participants will proceed:

@Meshugenah vs @Audy
@Aley vs @PenguinAttack
@Rydia vs @HighTop
@ongoeslife vs @Tenyo vs @SubtleSanity vs @SparkToFlame
@megsug vs @rhiasofia vs @Birkhoff vs @Laure vs replacement poet @fortis
@ERZA vs @Lumi vs @Venonymous vs @WindSailor

Unfortunately, neither fortis or Venonymous submitted a poem for the second round of the loser's heat so they have been replaced by the runner ups rhiasofia and ERZA.

For anyone unsure, the competition now looks like this.

The second round of the loser's heat is being judged now and results will be released in 24 hours. At this point, the four finalists will be asked to submit their next poem.

Yeah, neither do I?? I submitted my poem at 3:42am GMT, 20 April, when you said the deadline was 8:30am GMT, 20 April.

[You] now have the next 48 hours to post a poem. That gives you until 8:30am GMT on the 20th.

But anyway, congratulations to the winners n stuff.

Yeah... Sorry @Rydia , but I'd recheck the math on who got in and not.

@fortis - you needed to submit a second poem between the 18th and 20th April for the second round of the loser's heat and @Lumi you submitted for the second round of the loser's heat, but had not posted a poem between the 14th and 16th for the first round.

Does that make sense? The two rounds were being run simultaneously so everyone in the loser's heat should have submitted two poems during that round - one each time you were tagged.

No, it was an easy mistake to make. I think it got over-complicated this year with trying to fit everything into April despite the late start :/

It's fine. ^_^
I just didn't know I had made it back into the contest, but I guess I should have done the math to see what would happen if I did replace someone. I guess I didn't know if someone in the losers' heat would drop out or someone else. .-.
I'll just wait till next year and exact my revenge. >:]

Sorry about the delay! I had a really tough journey home yesterday and pretty much went to sleep when I got in, but I'm ready to post the results now!

We had @ERZA, @rhiasofia and SparkToFlame facing off against each other and the judges had a tough time choosing their winner with some favouring different contestants, but the poet with the most points was rhiasofia - you are through to the final round.

As I was a little bit late getting the results out, the posting time has now been extended and the four finalists can submit their poem any time between now and 10:00pm GMT on the 24th April.

The four finalists are...

@Audy vs @PenguinAttack - Oh look, we have a repeat of last year's final but in the semi final! Very exciting!

@HighTop vs @rhiasofia - HighTop faces our underdog poet rhiasofia but who will go through to the final?

Everyone is going to need to bring their A game for this round! Remember though, you are now allowed to use any poem written in April, even if it was used for a previous round. Best of luck to all the contestants!
