Wow.

You guys, writing a short story without a single use of the letter e is not an easy thing to do. Writing the beautiful and poignant stories you wrote is even harder. Everyone who entered this event really exceeded my expectations. I wish I could give you all medals just for completing the challenge. But there can only be three.

Bronze

@Wherethewindgoes

Silver

@Snoink

Gold

@BlueAfrica

Honorable mentions go out to @niteowl , @AEChronicle, and @TimmyJake - your stories were delightful and creative but unfortunately there wasn't enough space for you all in the top 3.

Keep writing, you guys are wonderful.

All our dreams can come true — if we have the courage to pursue them.

*intense fangirling* OH MY GOSH THANK YOU

In fairness, I had Olympic training for this. In one of my classes last spring we had to write a paper using no e's. But mine was mostly just about how hard it was to not use e's, so this is a big step up and THANK YOU OH MY GOSH

The bird that would soar above the level plain of tradition and prejudice must have strong wings. It is a sad spectacle to see the weaklings bruised, exhausted, fluttering back to earth.
