Hello, is your avi a Klingon?

unpublishedperson No, a Cardassian named Garak, but also from the Star Trek franchise just like Klingons are. The Cardassians were more prominent on Deep Space Nine, where the character of Garak is, tho you can find them in most of the shows, just like the Klingons:)

ExOmelas I just finished a novelisation about the Cardassian invasion of Bajor! I've always wondered what they looked like! My favourite Cardassian I read about was Bennek the Oralian and my favourite Bajoran was Syjin.

unpublishedperson ah the Terok Nor books are on my to-read list of ds9 novels, but I havent found the time. There are a good deal of them, so it can be hard to make any progress in them.

ExOmelas The series I started is set a while before ds9 I think. The back cover said something about Terek Nor becoming the site for ds9. I'm not totally fluent in the ways of that world yet. I'm sort of a trekkie in training

unpublishedperson Yes basically the Cardassians built Terok Nor for as a base during the occupation, however when they left, the Federation takes over the base and they rename it Deep Space Nine. Thats basically when the show starts, right after Bajor is freed.

cleverclogs *squeezes into conversation* DS9 was my favorite Trek show. Also, have you read A Stitch in Time? It's about Garak's past, and it's written by the actor that played him, Andrew J. Robinson. Definitely worth a read.

I bought the book on kindle because I'm cheap like that. XD And I love seeing Biscuits being taken into the world of Star Trek. It was my first love. I remember my parents putting on TNG when I was little and letting my brothers and me watch it, even though we hardly understood what was going on. Trekkie from birth! <3
