I find this very amusing!

"I reflect on the nightmare that had come to haunt me these past few months. It always starts in a dark alley next to a busy street. I feel what seems an unquenchable thirst. To my surprise I crouch in the darkest corner, which is unusual because I hate the dark. I am not alone for long before someone arrives, a different person, a different face."

I like how you wrote that, you tend to give part of the image at first then come back with the whole image which makes the reader interested.(I'm not sure if you get what i mean but hopefully you do) ^^

Thanks, I edited it again!
As your pretty, so be wise,
Wolves may lurk in every guise.

It had a perfectly round door like a porthole, painted green, with a shiny yellow brass knob in the exact middle. The door opened on to a tube-shaped hall like a tunnel: a very comfortable tunnel without smoke, with panelled walls, and floors tiled and carpeted, provided with polished chairs, and lots and lots of pegs for hats and coats—the hobbit was fond of visitors. The tunnel wound on and on, going fairly but not quite straight into the side of the hill —The Hill, as all the people for many miles round called it—and many little round doors opened out of it, first on one side and then on another.
