it's been a long time since ive joined somewhere new. I'm Jessy ^_^ I was introduced to this place through TYWC if any of you know it.. I got kinda fed up with it because none of my poetry/stories ever uploaded after 2002... so needless to say i moved ^_^ i hope to find some friends here!

What is TYWC, anyway?

Well, anyways, welcome Jessy. Hope you like it here, feel free to post any stories or poems you have or PM one of the staff members (ZZAP, Korin, Faith, Nate, and me).

So, about that making friends here, you have already made a couple dozen,

TYWC is The Young Writer's Club at http://www.cs.bilkent.edu.tr/~david/derya/ywc.html

It used to be a really great place; intelligent members, some great stories and poems, and a dedicated admin. But, things have changed and the site is now dying (a couple are calling it completely dead). It's submission system is antiquated (takes 8 weeks for your story to appear) and the admin of the site has disappeared. Doesn't help that the founder of TYWC hates it now....

Hmm, the link didnt work...oh well.

Yeah, that happens with all sites, first they are being visited all day and 5 members join a day, but after a while, BAM! Drop dead on the floor and rot away. I hope that doesn't happen to this site, if the admin doesn't dissapear, that will never happen....

Edited the link... You needn't worry about me disappearing anytime soon I'm still working on the new layout and plenty of other things. Plus, the way this site is set up, it doesn't really need an admin; just moderators and members.

That sounds like what happened with FAN, my old site. Except it didn't take a few weeks to upload--our moderator abandoned us =(. Sadness.
