Willing to Review for Points!

Hey,
I am new and willing to review short fiction/poetry for points!

What I Will Review:
- Magical Realism
- Historical
- A mix of the two!

What I Won't Review:
- Anything with a rating over 16
- A story based completely on romance
- Anything highly miserable
- Anything over 1,500 words (but I will make exceptions if I like it )

What I Normally Focus on in Critiques:
- Things that jar when I'm reading them, e.g.words you don't need, things that don't fit.
- How you stay with the story
- Characterisation
- Any anything else that catches my reviewing eye!

If you would like me to review your stuff:
- Send me a PM and tell me what you want me to review!

What I Would Like in Return:
- Points please! Depends on how good my review is!
- If you don't think it is very good, please tell me what I could improve.

I really enjoy critiquing, and hope it will help me to improve.

I'm particularly aiming to improve general readability, or rather, getting rid of those things that 'jar when you're reading them,' so could you critique this for me? It's a semi-romance, but nothing too icky.
