Hi everyone! My name is Annabelle, and I'm new here, so I thought I'd introduce myself.

I'm an avid writer and reader. I am currently working on editing and publishing my first novel, Identity, which is part of a series called Daughters of the Sea. I also regularly post on my blog, https://annabelle.batie.com/.

My favorite book series is The Wingfeather Saga by Andrew Peterson, as you can probably tell from my name. I love fantasy, but especially mermaids.

Well, I think that's all you need to know about me.

Poetry is my cheap means of transportation. By the end of the poem the reader should be in a different place from where he started. I would like him to be slightly disoriented at the end, like I drove him outside of town at night and dropped him off in a cornfield.
