Name: Rory James

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Illness: OCD, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Sleep Disorders, Nightterrors(not really a disease but...) Suicidal, Anger Issues, Antisocial

Appearance: Rory has a light complexion with freckles on her face. She has curly red hair that falls to her shoulders with vibrant green eyes. Rory is pretty tall at 5' 8". She can normally be seen wearing dark jeans and somewhat nice T-shirts with a black leather jacket. She always wears black character shoes and never wears makeup. Rory is overweight, but not obese.

Personality: Rory is an amazing actress, using that as a way to temporarily deal with her problems. She is also an exquisite author, she mostly writes plays and novels. Rory is very shy and antisocial, so she has almost no friends; however, she is very loyal to the friends she does have and is extremely kind and caring to others. That is of course, when she's not having a moment. Rory is easily set off, not so much when people mess with her, more so when they mess with her friends does her anger issues come in, however she sometimes has fits of rage over things that have nothing to do with her. When her Bipolar Disorder kicks in, it's not pretty, she'll go from one mood into a complete other and back again without warning, and sometimes the littlest things can trigger her "moodswings." Rory is very depressed, and while she'll laugh and smile with her few friends, nothing can hide the constant sadness in her eyes, when she's alone and gets to thinking is when the depression is at its worst. Often times Rory will start crying for no reason, but really she just zoned out and started to think about depressing things again. Rory loves reading and music and is a fairly good singer, not that anyone would ever hear. She dislikes fake people, bullies, and people with perfect lives who rub it in everyone's face.

History: Rory was always the outcast, even in her family. She has an older sister, who was always favored by everyone, even her parents, while Rory was left in the shadows. She was abused both verbally and physically by her alcoholic father until her mother left him when Rory was eight, though she still has scars, both emotional and physical. Her mother has since remarried, but this guy doesn't even acknowledge Rory's existence. At school, Rory always had good grades, but never any friends. Most of her problems developed as she got older, mostly caused by not only her home life, but the kids at school as well. She was always bullied, verbally and physically, and recently cyber bullying has become part of the list. Rory's sister is 19 and is pregnant with her second child, each has a different father, she has no job, isn't married, dropped out of high school in tenth grade, and still lives at home, but she is still the"golden child" of the family; still perfect to her parents, while everything Rory does is criticized. After years of emotional and physical wear and tear, Rory was on the edge, then one day, after coming home from school and sobbing into her pillow as usual, she went online, that's when she noticed that the cyber-bullying began. She couldn't take it anymore, she just snapped, she was already a cutter, but obviously that wasn't enough, that night she made her first suicide attempt. Lucky for her, her best (and only) friend, Talia was coming over to work on a science project, and caught her. That's what got her sent here. That was a year and a half ago, when she was just a freshman, she's been here ever since. The psychologists all yelled at her parents, and the teachers at school for not noticing the obvious signs that had been there for so long. Rory blames society, for demanding perfection from someone already so broken from the start, someone who barely stood a chance against life to begin with.

Theme Song: Welcome to my Life-By Simple Plan

Up for Love: Yes, she really wants to find someone she can connect with. Someone to be there when she has a meltdown. She's never been in a relationship before. She is straight.

Other: Um..... I don't think so.

I wake up and head down for breakfast and my meds like I do every morning. The nurses keep exchanging side comments every chance they get. I brush it off, can't be anything serious, at least not too serious, otherwise they'd have to tell us, right? Wrong, they would never tell us if something major was going wrong, they never tell us anything here, I fear they may be hiding something from us, but then again I would have no way of knowing. I try to shake the thought all together, I sit in silence, alone, just me and my thoughts. Never a good thing to leave the two of us alone together, and yes I count my thoughts as a separate person, but it happens so frequently. After I finish I go back to my room and tidy up a bit so everything is perfectly organized. I hear two nurses talking outside my door, now I'm going to find out what's going on around here. "Gone! They just disappeared! I don't know how it happened!"

So that's the big secret! Some people escaped; and I'm gonna be next! That's proof that can be done! I'll do it tonight, if I can think of a plan. Oh who am I kidding, of course I can think of a plan! I sit down on my bed with my journal, and I get to thinking. I flip to the last page, grab a pen and write out my plans for tonight. This plan is fool-proof! It's gonna happen during dinner, I just need to wait for the exact right second. This is going to happen, I can already taste my freedom. The thought actually brings a bit of a smile to my face. Freedom, for the first time ever, the thought seems so unreal, but also, so deserved.

I spend the rest of the afternoon making sure I have mt stuff together. I pack it all neatly in my messenger bag and hide it in a plant in the hall. At dinner I sit by myself as usual. I sit and I wait for the right moment. Finally it comes. One of the other patients with anger issues starts a fight with a bunch of other patients. While no one is looking I sneak out into the hall, grab my bag and make a run for it; luckily I'm very sneaky. I pull a bobby pin from my hair and pick the lock on one of the windows in the nurse's lounge. I pull it open and leap out. I keep on running and I don't look back. I run and I run and I run through the city. I keep going until I see an old, abandoned apartment building. I stand there staring at it and decide to check it out. However, when I open the door, I find that I am not the first one to arrive.

I look up when I hear the door open and I can't help my exclamation of delight. "Rory!" I said happily and hugged her. She stiffened and I immediately stepped back. "Shit sorry but I'm so happy to see you!" I said honestly meaning it. Rory reminded me of myself both the good sides and the bad. "Hey Stasia." She said. "We're going to rob a pharmacy if you want to help." Conner said his voice coming from behind me. "Yup it's going to be so much fun!" I said jumping up and down. "She's Manic." Raven commented aloud. I grinned at him knowing he was right I was happy and very jumpy but I knew I was going to come down at some point but I didn't want to think about that.
"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."

"But you have heard of me."
