Okay, when I inevitably start complaining about revising this book again, someone please gently whack me with a newspaper and remind me of what I'm thinking right now:

- all the things I'm trying to do in this book can absolutely fit together
- I can make them fit together, it's just going to be a lot of work
- I'm psyching myself out because I'm trying to make them fit together while working in a genre I've never written and always swore I'd never write

I can do it. I'm just gonna be a big baby about it the whole way there.

Listening to audio files for different chapters for the audiobook <3 I am crying laughing, Jeanine's voice and delivery is so perfect lmao

First draft: completed during Camp NaNo in July
Second draft: started the day before NaNo in November let's goooooooooooooooooooo

I vague-posted on Instagram but it was the LEAST vague vague post ever (like, to the point where I cleared it with my agent before posting, just to be safe), but I posted it on a Sunday and sort of buried it within the post, and it's very funny to me that no one has noticed yet. Either that or they're all too polite to say :eyes: or anything, but that seems unlikely.

Okay well in the middle of all this freaking out I've been doing, I've also been revealing character stickers for The Remarkable Retirement of Edna Fisher! October 21 marks six months since Edna released, so I'll be doing some giveaways on social media.

Tomorrow I'll be revealing a poster with some AWESOME Edna art by a friend, but here are the stickers (with art by me!)

I tried doing Benjamin in profile like I did for everyone else, but after two different profiles that turned out not-to-my satisfaction, I went with the pose @Sonder used in her original art of him (although his features are different), which is also more my norm when drawing faces. (Three-quarter view my beloved.)

Noting for this one that I used @Sonder's design as a foundation to help with the pose/angle, but I used a photo of actor LaKeith Stanfield as a direct reference because he is my one (1) fancast simply because of his very expressive eyes.

Redway: sorcerer but probably don't ask him to do magic with you, dragons > people, for the love of god Red murder is not a valid coping mechanism

I have a short story out today!

"Unfriended" is a new adult contemporary fiction about a queer, neurodivergent twentysomething dealing with the aftermath of a friendship breakup.
