   Have you ever written a character in a storybook that had a pet?

   No, but early versions of one of my characters did have a couple of pets initially. They were written out because reasons, and I kinda forgot about them, but now that you mention it I might just write one or two of those pets back in.
   
   No, I do not need a good reason.

   I have! It was a long time ago in a storybook called Elswyre. One of my two character, Calidus Ignis, had a baby dragon named Parva. I haven't reread it in awhile, but Parva was definitely the cutest dragon I've ever written!
   
   I haven't written any storybooks with pets since then, but I might now that I have a new one in the house - he's rekindled my love of characters having animal companions.

   I mean technically? I'm currently writing two characters in On Stolen Wings, and they have dragons, but they're more like spiritual partners than pets.

   Technically Camille the potty-mouthed white raven has only made one canon cameo so far, but I do intemd to use her again someday.
   Like pick some rp, and play her on her own, no Boris in sight. (The nice thing is she mainly uses old timey swears so it it lets me get wway with things.)

   Oh my god, yes. First was Twinkiel's pet, a feral Pokémon he nicknamed Moskito that's basically a tiny electric spider learning how to speak. The result?
   
   “Fun fact!” he exclaimed before entering in the room. “Unlike popular beliefs, Twinkiel Thunderfleece doesn’t actually performs move calling all the time. Hi-ho, Moskito!” Twinkiel called. From somewhere inside, a Joltik ran across the room and stopped in front of him, jumping with excitement.
   
   “Hi-Ho! Hi-Ho! ‘Skito says hello, hello!” Moskito exclaimed. “Twin’kay? ‘Twin’kay too, today?”
   
   “Yes, I’m okay! C’mon, hop on my head. And hey, did you grow bigger? Because that’s rad.”
   
   “‘Skito’big! ‘Skito’bigger, ‘ndeed!”
   
   Goshdarn it, I love writing for Moskito.
