Daily Word Counts

65 posts in this topic.

  1. Drop in here and let us know what your word count for the day, and overall is!
  2. My word count today: 2082. Not bad for a first time NaNo participant I guess.
  3. 1,244 words thus far today (I am doing the YWP, so I'm ahead of my goal of 1,000 a day), and the prologue completed. So, yay!
  4. 1456 so far. I wanted to get 1700 per day but I start late today. I'll just make up those few hundred works tomorrow :b I'm done for the night. Chapter 1 is done.
  5. Um. I wrote somewhere around 3500 because I started writing at 1 am and then wrote half a page every hour or two.
  6. Ending off with 3,625, proud of what I got done and I need to go to sleep now.
  7. Day 1: 1,405 words

A little behind schedule, but not too bad considering I probably procrastinated way too much on this novel planning. xD
  8. Day 1: 2,613 words.

I finally got past that blank page and got a lot of writing in. I'm really happy with my progress. I didn't expect to make it past 2k.
  9. Ending off with 3,625, proud of what I got done and I need to go to sleep now.
  10. Day 1: 2480
  11. Day 1: 5000
  12. Day 1: 10,601 (I spent around 12 hours pounding keys and surviving off bags of crisps from the vending machine. It's not a word count I'm in any hurry to beat).

Day 2: 4,105. I tend to just write until I can't write any more and right now, I've got to that stage. So I'm going to amble off now and reward myself with cake. :P
  13. Day 2: 831

Meh... Ran into some story issues that was making it really hard to work on it. But I think I have a plan of action and after I make some edits/additions to what I've already written, I should be back on track. Hopefully. :/
  14. Oh, my overall number at the end of day 2 is: 3,437 words. Forgot to add that.
  15. Day Two: 4503

    Heck yeah!

When I use caps I do not want you to read it like a little screech, I want you to read it like a 5,000 year old ogre with the strength of 10,000 men.
