do you ever think,
how much of an inconvenience you are?
all things considered,
if you had never been born,
your parents would never argue about you.
your friends would never have to be concerned about you
your family wouldn't have to buy things for you
-
an inconvenience.
you're a waste.
a waste of space,
and money,
and time.

this is actually so heartbreaking
the way it lists all the different ways someone might feel like a burden, from their parents arguing to their friends worrying about them, makes it feel so personal and painful. the repetition of “an inconvenience” and then calling yourself a “waste” is so harsh, and i think that really shows how cruel someone’s thoughts about themselves can get when they’re struggling. you’re genuinely talented at putting these feelings into words, but i really hope this isn’t how you see yourself. if this is about you, i hope you’re okay, genuinely, and that you know you’re not a burden for existing or for needing help and support. you deserve to take up space and be cared about just as much as anyone else. and if none of this is about you, i still hope you’re doing okay, because this is a really heavy thing to write about. 💗
thank you for the review and thank you I feel like I needed to hear that <3
