This work is a response to the work @ishitadutt wrote, called 'My Question To The Pseudo-Feminists.' It was a beautifully written piece with flow and manner. I really enjoyed it, so I started writing a review, which turned into this (hence the beginning). Enjoy!
I saw this piece on my home page and saw 'Feminism' in the title so I decided to check it out. Yes, that does mean that I am interested in the whole feminism thing, because, much like you, I feel this same way. I feel like 'Feminists' is just an (again, referring to the title) pseudonym for 'woman who want to control the world.' It's just getting out of hand.
I remember a few years ago, people started uploading articles and videos on the web like what if women ruled the world? Now, these were obviously made for fun and humour.
This was an image, used for humor in some of the articles and videos. You get what I mean.
That was funny and all, but I think some people took it seriously. What if women ruled the world? Screw men, they've ruled for long enough. Let us take control! And it slowly grew.
Originally, as you said, it was equality. Equality between the two genders. From the beginning of history, they say. The man was always the better, the stronger. Just take the 1800's, when wives were buried with their husbands alive. Like, wut?
A really sad example of 'feminism,' which is now, 'Men suck,' is ANZAC Day. Here in Australia, we have a day to remember all the people who went to war in the Gallipoli campaign in WWI, which was a failure and. Australia was a tiny country back then. From a population of fewer than five million, 416,809 men enlisted, of which over 60,000 were killed and 156,000 wounded, gassed, or taken prisoner. Sad, innit?
Well, this past ANZAC day, there was literally a post by a lady who said that we should stop ANZAC Day because it doesn't show and honour the ladies in the war. You can check out the website here. Yeah. And it was the 100th anniversary this year. It made me feel like crying :(
But you know what is worse? It was a freaking joke. It was a bloody hoax. Sorry, let me just vent out my anger here. WHO THE HELL MAKES A JOKE ON THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF ANZAC DAY, SAYING THAT IT SHOULD BE STOPPED?! Like seriously?!
In conclusion to all of this, feminism is fake. It's meant to be about equality, but it's not. It's about the complete opposite. Real equality would be called humanism. I am also sad to live in the world, where people make jokes and hoaxes on- you know what? Forget it. Screw it. I'm done.

Heyy. Firstly thanks a lot for appreciating my article and taking it seriously. Your answer to it was infact like a continuation to my thread of beliefs so I could totally relate to it. But I want to put it clear for everyone reading this that me and my friend willachilles are not women-haters or anti-feminist. We are infact supporters of the real feminism that is equality for women. But we are definitely against the pseudo-feminism that is just another way of maligning a serious issue!
This is a response to @Carlito's comments on both mine and @ishitadutt's work.
You gave the point that 'Women are still paid less than men for equal work.' I totally agree with the fact that yeah, there is discrimination between men and women. And yes, it does need to be stopped.

Yes, the fact that women still do not feel safe walking home alone is a HUGE issue. Everyone has the right to feel safe. That's what humanity is based on - safety.

And agreed. Why am I doing this? Why am I saying I agree to everything you say? Because I do. I really do. I don't think you got what I meant in my response to @ishitadutt. I know all this, I've researched all of this, I've had many debates upon this topic. I know where you are coming from with the metro seat thing, I know where you are coming from with the door holding thing and the anti-feminism thing. I get it.
To break it down for you, what I was trying to say in my response (I guess I didn't make it quite clear enough in the conclusion) is that 'feminism' is a great thing - I too think that we need it in our society. But in some places it has gone too far, and hasn't remained feminism anymore. That's why I brought up the topic of humanism.
As you and I take it, feminism means equality between men and women. I have already said that I agree with this. However, in my response I gave a few examples of 'extreme feminism,' which you called 'radicles.'
Where I was going with the examples was this: In my opinion, these radicals are the ones who deface feminism. I'm going to keep on referring back to the definition of feminism. 'Equality between men and women.' Do you think that the girl on ANZAC Day was going by this definition? Do you think the girl going around saying that all men should die followed this definition? No, right? And that's the gold right there.
How do we know about these radicles? Social media - Twitter, Facebook etc. Millions upon millions of people use these and many of them would've seen these articles. Even if they didn't click on them, they would've seen the title, something like:
Feminist thinks that ANZAC Day should be stopped.
And you see, that is it. The media itself is portraying these radicles as 'feminists.' 'Feminist' thinks that _____, or '_____ should be _____ says feminist.' And that's the killer. Again, even if people don't click on the articles, to people who don't know about feminism or know very little (heck, even people who know what it is) will just be like, 'Oh, so that is feminism, huh?'
Killer, killer, killer. Defacing feminism. What many people now think is feminism, are radicles. And now so many people think this way - that's it. That is now feminism.

People are thinking that feminism and feminists are hypocrites and are stupid. Infact, I think that's what I said.

WE NEED FEMINISM! YES! YES WE DO! But the true feminism. The true one. Not this hypocritical garbage. You should try and look further into the 'modern feminism,' also identified to some people and 'feminazi.' It annoys me, and OH it will annoy you.
The whole thing in a few sentences:
True feminism is good. We need it. Equality is what we need. Radicals are changing the meaning of feminism (like they did with ISIS) and feminism is now being portrayed as the radicals define it. We need to bring the old feminism back, and not this feminazi garbage.

I appreciate this response. The way I read your original post, it sounded like you were lumping ALL feminists into the category of, who I would call, radical. But clearly that wasn't the point.
Personally, I see a lot more people on social media/the internet and in the world in general that are more align with my (and our) views of feminism. I think there's a big movement right now to get more people to see things this way. Emma Watson has given a couple of AMAZING speeches to the UN about feminism and women rights around the world and they spread like wildfire over the internet. Obviously there are still the extreme people out there that are way out in left field, and you get that for every single issue.
I think as long as we keep educating people about why we need feminism and why feminism is still so important, slowly but surely the radicals that make absolutely NO sense will lose their credibility. People will always radicalize and other people will always support radicals, but education can go a long way.
So I guess if we turn this back around to a critique of the work you put out :p, I would say make it more clear that you consider yourself to be a feminist (and give a brief explanation about what that means to you). I would also present the arguments of these "pseudofeminists" clearly and with citations, and then explain why you feel that's not a good argument or a good way of thinking about feminism. Otherwise, people may think you don't support feminism (which was the way I originally read this).

Yeah, there are a lot of people on social media which are feminists, and Emma Watson did a BRILLIANT job with the speeches. She really is a wonder. Education is and will always be the solution to everything - heck, we can stop wars with it.
And I'm just going to go and edit my work just to make it clearer about what I think.

I am going to state my opinions here about this matter. Now, I do not mean to offend anyone. Everyone has different opinions. But I am going to state what I think. So, to anyone who reads this, DO NOT be offended if there is something that I said that you did not like.
We men and women were created as equals. No gender should discriminate the other. That's plain, straight out WRONG! Now, there were times when the world was mostly male-chauvinistic. And later on, the women protested against sexism and all that nonsense. But that's where feminism came in. Now, that, along with sexism is complete, 100% LUDICROUSNESS. Nowadays, most men are being discriminated, because women were at first, too. It was kind of like "payback". But, really, those feminists should just stop. And the men, too. Both genders are being discriminated. I HATE IT!!! We are supposed to live in peace and happiness. They should be kind to each other and treat each other with respect.
I think feminism is destroying everyone, mostly women and girls. Most of them had suddenly turned nasty and mean, and it's not supposed to be like that. When I see females acting terrible, I feel sorry for them. I can't stand seeing them like that. I especially hate it when women try to look like men. (Seriously?) You are a woman, not a man; don't try to look like one. Any female reading this, you are made for better things. Don't listen to the feminists, especially to those who say that "men are stupid, dumb, unkind", etc... because most of them are not. Be kind to all. Be a lady. And to all the males reading this, you are also made for better things. Be kind to all. Be a gentleman. Don't listen to the sexists who say terrible things about females. Many times, they are not true.
I am neither a feminist nor a sexist. I am someone who believes in gender equality. Now, when people say "gender equality", they think "feminist". But I believe in TRUE gender equality, where men and women are treated with respect. They are both great people. I believe that they have their vices and their virtues. No one isn't perfect.
Now, I am someone who is modern, so to speak. I am not really old-fashioned. I believe that women should go to college, get an education, and receive jobs. But, I don't think that women should become plumbers or electricians. (Really...plumbers? It's your choice, girls, but personally...plumbers?) I don't know.
I favor both men and women. Like I said, they are both great people. I despise feminism and sexism with all my heart. They should stop.
Feminism is just...no. I can't stand it. I am sick and tired of women saying that they are better than men and how they don't get treated with respect. Really? I know a lot of men who are gentlemen and really kind and understanding. If any girl meets men like that, return the favor by being kind, ladylike, and understanding. Remember: Women are not better than men, nor are men better than women. I wish we had more people who believed in that. *sighs*
I hope I had not written a harangue. I just hate it when men and women are being prejudiced. Feminism is terrible. It honestly destroys people. And so is sexism..like really? I am a feminist and I could not disagree more. Please see my review on the original article.
And let me add.
1. You have radicals about everything. At it's core, Islam is NOT about violence. It's actually an incredibly peaceful religion and I know many Muslim individuals that are incredibly kind and caring people. But what do the majority of people see? ISIS. Terrorist groups. Oppression of women. And they immediately assume that ALL Muslims must be this way and Islam is a terrible, horrible thing. It's really not. (And, many Muslims would say that the terrorists/radicals aren't really practicing Islam anyway).
You have "feminist" radicals like the one you describe. I would argue that she's not even a feminist. She's just a radical. I saw a video of some girl going around (it might have actually been an article). Her big thing was that she thought women should rule society, most men should be killed and those that weren't should be put on some island and basically be sex slaves for women. She's not a feminist. She's just a radical. Please do not lump radicals in with all feminists because the VAST majority of us aren't even CLOSE to feeling this way.
2. I am a feminist, but I am not a man-hater. At all. I love men. I have really amazing male friends. I have two amazing brothers and an amazing father. I do not want the fall of men. I do not want women to rule over men. I do not want the mass destruction of men. Men are important. We need them.
I do have a major problem with the way some men treat women. Every two minutes in the United States a woman is sexually assaulted. Sexual assault is one of the most underreported crimes because of rape culture (I could go on and on about this. If you don't know what it is, please ask and I will explain). We have a major problem in the US about how some men view and treat women, and I have a huge problem with that.
