Hi Dear Honeybadger!!
This is Eros here to write a review on your poem!!
This poem "Solidarity" is a great dedication to the three teens which you have mentioned at the last. The style is very unique and new. The poem is full of effect and he touch is really very realistic. It has a spiritual aspect too. And also the cultural aspect of the poem can be seen easily. It is a great work and the beauty of the poem is really very great!!
You are writing great!!Keep it up!
I love this so much. It shows so much respect and emotion. This is poetry that has a reason. It brought tears to my eyes and lots of memories of things. 10 out of 10 stars. I love how you stated how media and politics can twist the truth into sick lies, well thats how I took how you put it. Great poem.

Thanks so much for reading.
Awww.

I really like the way you've written this.
Also, it's lovely that it's in memory of some people, that makes it seem so much more visceral and real. And I really like it.
Beautifully written as well, the way it is like a list makes all the points more dramatic because they have a line for themselves.
An interesting work, I hadn't seen or thought of anything like this before.
Particularly like the way this ends up.
Very sad.
Very heart-warming.
Hello.
Kanome here with a review for you.
This poem is saddening yet interesting. It's based on teenagers who only want to go back to their families.
I've seen stuff like this on television, or more specifically, Investigation Discovery.
It breaks my heart, seeing murderous people do such cruel things.
Yet, we learn life lessons based on those events.
Nitpicks:
- Okay, this is much of a question-based type thing. I just need to know how these three words are related in the matter.
If you explain it to me, I'll probably be less confused xD
Anywho, this is an amazing poem.
Keep it up.
I can't wait to read more of your work.
Hi Kanome,

Thank you for asking! I'll admit I had a hard time when it came to those three lines.
I was going with a recurring theme of a series of three words of varying levels of effect: a technically correct word that really doesn't describe the situation in detail (i.e., with the line "Dead," we know these poor boys are dead; how they ended up this way is not clear at face value), a more specific word (i.e. they were "Victims" of something), and a very strong word with enough "oomph" that I feel really reflected the actual situation (i.e., in my opinion, these three poor boys were martyrs).
I hope that clarifies that section for you. Thank you so much for taking a look and reviewing this poem for me.

Hi Annaclare,
It was difficult for me to write not just because I'm not all that experienced a poet.
I really appreciate that you've taken the time to read my poem.
Unfortunately, I didn't meet these three young men personally during their lifetimes. I learned their tragic story from the news. They were three Israeli high school students who were kidnapped on their way back to their homes for the weekend, and subsequently murdered by their captors. The boys' families, with help of their local military and police force, searched for them for eighteen days, hoping that they might still be alive, before the bodies were discovered. :'(
Thank you again for reading and reviewing; your kind words are greatly appreciated!
@ScarletDreams14, @Pinkiegirl13, and @Kelpies - Thank you so much for your kind words. I greatly appreciate it and somewhere out there in the great beyond, so do these poor boys.
Oh gods, this is so depressing. I could feel the emotion put into this poem.

I feel like a jerk now because, whenever I see someone died on the news I don't care.
It's just another person right? Maybe it was they're own fault they died.
Little did I know how much they're families would miss them once they we're gone.
This is a beautiful and heart-felt poem and it deserves a 10/10.
Great job, keep on writing!

Hi, ComicalCrafty. This is Pinkie here for a review.

This poem is very sad. This poem is very true about this realistic world. The victims' families always hear something bad happening to their love ones on the news. It made me want to cry at this and wished me or my family will hear something bad happening to me. This poem is very heart-breaking and touching. Also, you did a great idea for putting the teens' names on here. Now people will remember about them. I like to read more from you. Have a nice day and stay safe.
Awesome Job!
Cheers
You reviewer. Pinkiegirl13
Dear ComicalCrafty,
This is so sad! It's also true, people hear so many bad things on the news, they just stop feeling for the people that died on there. This has happened to me, though I do mourn in a different way than most people. Some people, don't even know how to feel for strangers anymore. But this poem made me cry, and that means that it's something worth reading. I also liked how you did it to the memories of Gilad Shaar, Naftali Frankel, and Eyal Yifrach.
