The lights are on my tree
And I can hear music playing .
But I’m staring out the window
Sill looking to the Heavens and praying.
No Santa can bring me the one I love to my door.
The one person I wanted this holiday.
No Santa can give me all that I want.
Or bring the miracle on Christmas Day.
No Santa can grant me all the things on my Christmas list.
Or the prayers I have said a thousand times.
No Santa will be there when I cry.
Or tell me that it’s okay and i’ll be fine.
So this Christmas there will be no wishes from me.
No desires or any kind of Christmas list.
I’m too broken for the holidays
And there’s no way for my heart to be fixed.
This Christmas I’ll pray for anyone else but me.
I’m done trying to believe in dreams.
So this Christmas i’ll do it for others.
For i’m done believing in Childish schemes.

This is a very deep and true poem...As a fellow teenager, I can relate to this. I've also faced many heartbreaks and get depressed during holiday seasons. Yes, Santa may not be real, but I think you should cheer up and do something nice to yourself! Bake some cookies or make yourself some sugary snacks! Maybe you should get a camera and do some photography!

Hello tinybookfairie!
Liberty500 here for a review!
First of all, tell me, is this true?
Second, I ADORE your choice of words! Marvelous!
On to the review.
In some places you had a few capitalization mistakes like in: "Or tell me that it’s okay and i’ll be fine." and "So this Christmas i’ll do it for others." The "i'll" in both sentences need to be capitalized like this: "I'll".
Same with this sentence: "For i’m done believing in Childish schemes." The "i" in "i'm" is supposed to be capitalized.
In the last sentence, "Childish" does not need to be capitalized, it can be "childish".
Overall, I really enjoyed it! And again, your choice of words are A-MAZ-ING!
Keep on writing!

Thank you
No problem!
Amazing and beautiful! This speaks right to the heart of the reader, and it definitely hit me. I'm sorry you feel this way, and I hope with all my being that something happens to you that will make this Christmas worth it. I want you to know that you can PM me anytime you need/want to talk or want someone to listen. I am here for you, and I do feel, in a way, what you are going through.
Thanks
