Hi! I like this piece. I had thought about the same question in high school myself, but I approached it more from a quantum physics perspective than a philosophical one. I find it pretty interesting! In physics, we say that the quantum particles are in a chaotic mode, that they do not follow a pre-decided or calculated path, but just moves around randomly and with multiple states. I'm not an expert but I feel like you might be interested in learning about it, and that may give you more thoughts about the hands of fate. Thank you for your essay and I love it!

Hello chem :D I’m here to review your wonderful essay!
As a fellow agnostic, I found this topic very interesting right off the bat! The idea of fate definitely brings up some questions over whether or not we actually have free will. I also really like the concept of being able to change your fate, and that maybe fate exists but isn’t set in stone, basically this entire thing is really well written and thought-provoking.
I don’t really have any feedback here, I’m assuming the entire thing being in lowercase is intentional. Overall, this is really really good, I’m looking forward to reading more of your stuff in the future :D

Pretty deep. Seems uncannily like the kinda thoughts I have when I should be doing homework :) I'm a firm believer of science, so I don't think fate has anything in her hands. It's in yours. The one in your arms might be the one for you. Don't overthink it.
Still, the writing is nice. Thanks for this!

This is actually a pretty deep thing to think about, Thinking: ''does this all happen as one timeline?". I can kind of relate to that thought. My advice: just live out to where it actually feels like you're making imput.

Hi! I'm here to leave a little review on this excellent poem/philosophical rambling!!!

Reading this, I am unsure if this would qualify is a poem by definition? It doesn't really have a stanzic structure or tooooo much rhyme/rhythm to it. However, it does have this metaphorical quality that other poems have.
(to be fair, I'm not really a poem reviewer by nature or a poem person at all, so I could be VERY wrong. I like this all the same!)

This is a common phenomenon with humans though. Lots of people have to feel like that maybe there is a fate that we are following. A set path that we all have assigned to ourselves. There's even the scientific adage that is interpreted different ways that says we are only 10% conscious, while the other 90% is unconscious thoughts and actions. Sorta brings the question of what consciousness is at all...

In my mind, even if there is a FATE, as you talk about here. At the very least, the idea that I myself am going against the grain or attempting to defy fate tells me all that I need. If fate is something we can't change, the mere thought that I did everything I can to defy such is pretty comforting.

Interesting little thought-experiment here!

thanks!! hahah i had no idea how to categorize this, so thank you for the input <.<

I'm all in favor of keeping dangerous weapons out of the hands of fools. Let's start with typewriters.
