Little yellow flowers
Cover me tonight
Filling the air with fragrance
Bringing me delight

They lay around me
On the dew covered grass
They're in my auburn hair
Showing my true class

I never thought I'd see this day,
Never thought it'd come,
Never thought I'd not be there
Saying 'welcome'

But now I realize everyone must go,
Everyone must pass
Even two lovers
Lying dead in dew soaked grass

I love this! The ending is - although rather grim - fantastic. I have no spelling or grammar nitpicks for you, so good job!
Absolutely brilliant.

I never thought I'd see this day,

Saying 'welcome' This doesn't quote fit the rhyming scheme.

But now I realize everyone must go,
Everyone must pass
Even two lovers Same as above.
Lying dead in dew soaked grass

Apart from those two things, really good.

I read it. Although I don't know much about poetry, I could still tell that everything flowed well and had intrinsic meaning. Keep it up!

Oh yeah, and that was a bit grim at the end. Kudos there!

When I was young, I admired clever people. Now that I am old, I admire kind people.
