A world without winter
Always in the sun
A world free of death
Free of sorrow

A world without winter
A world free of death
Without reason to celebrate
 Life

Our sorrow
Our pain
Shows us our blessings
Forces us to grow

It is our pain
The pain we can hardly bear
That defines us
That tempts us to grow

It is this growth
It is this suffering
That gives us the strength
To laugh in the face of cruel fate

That gives us the strength
The fortitude
To stand on the brink and shout
I am here world

This is me
Break me if you can
For I will endure
This world with winter

Personally, i like the message you that you are conveying in your poem... I can overcome the obstacles that you throw in my path, I can. It tells you to be strong even though you are breaking because
"The pain we can hardly bear
That defines us
That tempts us to grow". That lines are inspiring and nice..

Keep going,..

I love this piece. it reminds me of the Africa slaves that was brought to the Caribbean. also my interpretation is that its symbolic for someone who is forced to grow up at a tender age and to take on responsibility but rises above all odds. I love your piece, and coming from someone who don't really read that I read your whole poem is a good sigh that you had a rhythmic pattern that wanted me to continue reading, there were no errors and your vocabulary painted a beautiful picture. keep writing and keep up the good work.
