Personally, i like the message you that you are conveying in your poem... I can overcome the obstacles that you throw in my path, I can. It tells you to be strong even though you are breaking because
"The pain we can hardly bear
That defines us
That tempts us to grow". That lines are inspiring and nice..

I'm guessing your not a winter fan. LOL. I loved the flow of this poem it kind of pulls you in and it has a nice hook in it. your very talented and a good writer. I love this piece. it reminds me of the Africa slaves that was brought to the Caribbean. also my interpretation is that its symbolic for someone who is forced to grow up at a tender age and to take on responsibility but rises above all odds. I love your piece, and coming from someone who don't really read that I read your whole poem is a good sigh that you had a rhythmic pattern that wanted me to continue reading, there were no errors and your vocabulary painted a beautiful picture. keep writing and keep up the good work.
