“Lena, I’m going to tell you something that is the last thing in the world you are ever going to want to hear.”

The suspense! It nearly killed me! I, like, fainted twice!
EEEPPPP!! Thanks, Mell, now I'll never be able to get to sleep. I'll be too worried about shadowmen killing me. And Trey. I never knew Trey was evil. Now I need to give him dirty looks in the hallway.
Okay, my one complaint...um...come on, MOIMOW, gotta have one...oh! I know! She takes it very seriously. Normally, when you tell people there's a land in another demension with an evil king and queen who want you dead, people laugh at you and call you crazy. (Believe me, I've been there.) And if you told me there was a land in another demension with an evil queen and king who want you dead, I'd laugh at you and say, "Been there. Done that. Yawn." But Lena's immediantly, "OMG, I'M GONNA DIE!!!!!!" Which was sorta awesome and sorta unbelievable. It's nice to not have someone laugh in your face, but it's also a little unrealistic. Maybe she could laugh in his face at least once, and then realize she's gonna die.
Not that I think she's going to die! I have total faith in her! Look at how well she's handling this!
“Well,” I whispered, “that was unexpected.”

Which was an awesome line!
Now I'm going on to ch.3, because this is so much fun!
How much longer 'til I come in?????

When we are children we seldom think of the future. This innocence leaves us free to enjoy ourselves as few adults can. The day we fret about the future is the day we leave our childhood behind.
