A poem I really like, but might really annoy you.

Resist love
Resist not love
Resist not the resist not
Resist resisting
Resist me
Resist not you
Resist yourself and your brother
Resist, my brother
Resist not love, but resist the thunderous applause that surrounds you
As you sleep

Resist my hand touch
Resist not my soul
Resist the trumpet sounding,
“Resist not! Resist not!”

It's good but it was a tounge twister for me.

I agree with Snoink, I found it humorous too.

I like the repetition, but this line:

It seems too long for the poem. I'd gotten into a steady rhythm by that point, and this line didn't fit.

This is really good. *Clicks like*

This made me laugh! It does get annoying after a while though... :D
Anyway, It's really good, and it sort of gives me the thought of maybe a rebellion building in a cult somewhere or something like that. (Epic) I have one suggestion though. Maybe try to break up the poem into smaller stanzas. I had a hard time reading it because it was all bunched up together. That's the only thing I had issues with. Other than that, I really liked this poem! It's awesome!

Hey Mary!

The repetition makes this rather humorous! I'm not sure if that's meant to be the case or not, but it made me giggle a bit.

There's just one thing that is kind of weird! If you try to look at this in a more serious way... this can be seen as a poem about incest. Which is a bit weird! Not sure if you intend that, but if you don't, you might want to tweak it a bit. :D
