Memories of Us

It's not the person that I'm missing all this time.

It's the memories that we've shared. The laughter he gave, the sweet texts he sent, the words that he spoke of me, the way he calls my name, the way he looks at me, the way he smiles at me, the way he gets mad whenever I do something wrong, the way he cares, the way he speaks. His voice, his behavior, his attitude, his bitterness, everything he say and does

But I don't miss him. Just the memories. But still, those memories are the reason why I loved him. The reason why I say it's true. It's him. But I don't know the best words to explain this. I think I want him back but I don't. I guess I might still love him but I don't. I want to see him but I won't. I want to talk to him but I can'. It's him. He's the reason. He complicates everything . . . yet I don't want to blame him.

I hate this. . .but I don't hate him. I miss us . . . but I don't miss him. I try to forget but I want to keep remembering. I want him to stay but I want him to leave. I want him to be mine but everything must go. If this is the feeling that people often experience then I'm one of those fools.. .No, I'm different. I AM the fool. I am because I loved him.

Hey lyricalrebel, Subtle here for a review! I can definitely say, I can relate to this. Even though short and simple, this short story has a surprisingly realistic and raw voice to it. I say surprisingly, because usually works of this genre lacks that component. I just love this, because this isn't some flouncy or touched-up work to please the eyes, instead this comes straight from your heart. Intimate and true, I just feel that as I read every line. I can feel your emotions, I can feel your heart breaking and I can feel those memories as if they were my own. That's how real your piece was.

So, there are really no nitpicks for this and I don't like finding faults in such a wonderful and personal story. But there are just some minor punctuation errors such as:

everything he say and does
The full stop after 'does'.

No, I'm different. I AM the fool. I am because I loved him.

I think you can start a new line with this, to make it more powerful and empathize its importance.

Awesome story, I'm impressed! Checking out your other pieces! :D

Okay, let me just say, I can relate. And it sucks, right?
Onto the writing!

Maybe just clean up those few little punctuation issues, like turning the:
" . . ." parts to:
"..." Just to clean it up a bit :) If this was to make it seem more broken and that sort of stuff, then I think that the "..." would cover it too :)
Also:
"everything he say and does"
needs a full stop :)

So, onto the good stuff! :D
I thought this was powerful, it was very well written and had a lot of emotion. I can relate to this, like I said before and I think that you've captured it just perfectly and have done a great job. I hope that this review helped! :)
