The Hands that can do everything!

PreviousNext

I give it into Your hands, just like you ask me to.

But the very next day you take it away.

You remind me my hands can only hold and do so much. When Your hands can do everything.

When I see it fall into your hands, I then see you working, guiding, and pulling everything together.

Though it may not always feel like that.

Sometimes You feel far away, like I can't reach you.

Theses days it's you holding me, not me holding you.

I know the psalmist were right. Living for You is not chocolate and flowers all the time.

It's calling out, and listing to Your response. It's being held in the palm of Your hand.

It's letting You love me.

It's letting what my hands can't do, and letting You do it.

Cause though my hands can only do so much, I am reminded that Your hands can do everything!

Hey Happy, I understand you're talking about God in this poem and I think it's great. The poem has a nice flow but you have a few mistakes. For line three, did you mean

1. "You remind me my hands can only hold so much" or "You remind my hands they can only hold so much."

2. "When see it fall into your hands" should be "When I see it fall into Your hands"

3. "Sometime you feel fare away" should be "Sometimes."

4. "Theses days it's you holding me, no me holding you" should be "These days it's You holding me, not me holding You."

5. "It's calling out, and listing to Your response" should be "listening."

6. "It's being held i the palm Your hand" should be "in the palm of Your hand."

Other than those mistakes the poem is fine, your idea was great.

Thank you, I will make those changes! My grammer is not the best, so any advice is apracated!!!

Hi!! I understand this is more a prayer, but I just wanna say a couple things.

One thing is, this prayer is really beautiful. You're like a mini psalmist.

I think all this needs is to be maybe a little longer and tie in the title more throughout the piece. But as this is a more personal piece, it doesn't really matter.

Lastly, I just want to let you know this was a big encouragement to me. A great reminder of Who my God is and that He can do anything, including being at work in my life. Thank you for that :)

Keep writing and encouraging people ;)
